Rick Ross announced his Black Dollar project will be released Thursday (September 3).

On Instgram today (August 31), the Miami rapper posted an image of the title with the release date underneath.

“Black Dollar This Thursday. #Luv. #doublem,” Ross writes in the caption, referencing MMG, his label.

Rozay also shared the first single from the project, “Foreclosures,” on Twitter.

Rick Ross’s lawyer, Adamma McKinnon, revealed in July that the rapper was working on the Black Dollar project.

Ross was incarcerated twice in the span of two weeks in June for marijuana and kidnapping charges. He was released after the second arrest after posting his bond of $2 million.

      1. POM is not plainum at all. Dre still sold more in his first week and total than Ross will ever do in his life. Plus, Ross will never have a number one album again since he fell off.

      1. Yet Ross is winning big with his stories while 50’s ass is bankrupt. Meek mill scoring big when lloyd banks is unheard of, wale getting another no.1 album where as tony yayo isn’t geting any anytime soon, and gunplay succeeding at a time when young buck gets locked up. And Ross, meek, and wale can claim to have no.1 albums, something dr gay will never see despite a 15 year wait.

      2. Please. Ross isn’t winning at all. 50 is not bankrupt, Meek Mill and Wale are not scoring anything, and Gunplay is flopping. Also, number ones don’t mean a thing when Dre can claim to have sold more in the first week with his album than Ross, Meek, and Wale did with theirs.

    1. Ross is about to make classics with his MMG films. His films will do 100 million first weekend, all from his fans and not from a few wealthy individuals that were called in to bump the pathetic 10 million Opening weekend gross for Compton into 60 million by buying whole showtimes.

      1. Dan, how long are you going to keep repeating the same lies? Ross will never make classic movies and if he does make movies, they’ll bomb. Fans helped SOC make 60 million the first week, not wealthy individuals.

      2. I went into a theater while seeing the dope fantastic 4 and noticed that all of the showtimes for compton was sold out. Peeked in one of the screens that showed compton and only one guy was there.

      3. You made all of that up. The box office gross tells a different story. Every screening of Straight Outta Compton was full of people while all the screenings for the shitty Fantastic Fail movie are near empty.

      4. 1. Its fantastic FOUR, not fantastic FAIL
        2. ALl of the ones i have seen consist of 1-3 people in each screening yet showtimes are sold out. Suspect behavior right there.

      5. 1. It is Fantastic Fail because it’s a failure on every level. All the critics tore it apart (it has an 8% on Rotten Tomatoes is proof of that) and it bombed hard at the box office. 2. You’re making shit up because that doesn’t happen in real life. If a screening is sold out, then a lot of people are in the theater watcing it. That’s basic logic and your comments have no logic. All you’re doing is hating on the success of Straight Outta Compton, because you wanted it to bomb, yet it’s one of the most successful music biopics ever. Come back to the real world and talk because you’re living in a fantasy.

      6. 1. Domestically, Fantastic Fail barely cracked $60 million. And that’s not even considering the money blown on marketing and promotion. Fantastic Fail bombed hard and it was only made because Fox doesn’t want to give up the rights to Marvel Studios, who’ll make a better Fantastic Four movie than they’ll even made. 2. Straight Outta Compton is one of the best movies of the year, not shit.

      7. No, it didn’t. It made 60 million domestically in total. Plus, money was blown on marketing
and promo, which is extra money that they have to make back, but won’t. That combined with barely making $25 million in the first week is proof that this shitty movie was a big loss for Fox. Just admit that Fantastic Fail is a box office bomb.

    2. You got to be crazy he aint got nuff fans to go platnum and they label as a hold got what 1 gold rec outside of ross please fucc a num 1 alblum get you plaqus up. Plus meek got bodied by drake and girlplay didnt even chart.

      1. At least no.1 new release (no.2 overall) behind only that pop sellout, weeknd. Shame too since weeknd was dope when he was doing music with drake. Then he did a pop song with ariana grande and another one for that stupid 50 shades of grey film. Its like when taylor swift went from country to pop.

    3. More trap beats & fantasy rhymes*message to emcee/rappers/garbage rappers*quality over quantity*take time*build a great album*i.e tpab*long Liv the 80s & 90s

    4. great.. another album about coke, lies and expensive cigars..isn’t he going to jail for pistol whipping someone..??..Ross is done, he had to put up his house and cars for collateral just to get bail money..LOL..

      1. Why spend 2 mill cash when you can just put up assets that you’ll keep. If he put up 2 mill cash or 10%, he won’t get it back. So basically getting out didn’t cost him anything.

      1. Mastermind is not close to gold and Hood Billionaire got the same promo as Mastermind. It was not an ouutake album (which isn’t a real thing), it’s an official studio release just like Mastermind and it flopped hard. All you’re doing is making excuses.

      1. 50s second album, not even his first or best selling sold more than ross and his whole crew combined, everry album and even the compilations

    5. def jam wanted no part of this bum juice LOL, had to give it away to his declining fan base for free. mmg is done, gunplay sold less than 1000 first week ya dig?

    6. Niggas don’t buy albums no more they bootleg it thats why rappers ain’t going gold or platinum no more. The internet has fucked the rap game up causing artist not to sell albums

      1. Then why Drake, j Cole and Kendrick git gold/ platnium? Kendrick the only left to hit plantium this year. I bought all three of their albums, the internet has actually helped them sell more. Fack u mean

      2. U think these artists care about selling anymore? Singles sell, albums don’t. If you have 3 or four singles on heavy rotation, radio play, videos, billboards charts that are doing 3-400,000 each, you’re a platinum artist. Plus going on tour and being booked for shows. You’re stuck in the 90’s-early 2000’s if you’re still worried about album sales.

    7. LMAO @ “KNIGHTS OF TEMPLAR”….. niigga is such a fraud with all these free mason illuminati talk, POSER

    8. You people that comment on this shit are fuckin wack. Your comments are not even valid and you gossip about people you dont even know like a bunch of high school bitches at the lunch table

      1. how are comments calling this man a complete fraud and a fake not valid? hes a liar who stole another living niggas name, beard and life story while that man was locked up in a prison like the one he used to WORK AT
