Rap Release Dates: Black Hippy, Styles P, Atmosphere, Blueprint

A few new release dates were announced this week, check out what’s new.

Top Dawg Entertainment head Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith recently told Billboard an updated version of the projects his camp is working on. He said that SZA’s debut label album is coming out “soon.” Kendrick Lamar’s second studio album is supposedly dropping this September and Top Dawg also said that a Black Hippy album is also in the works. No word yet on specific dates of any of the aforementioned projects.

Styles P announced that he’s going to be dropping a new album next month. Phantom And The Ghost is due out on April 29 and is set to follow up his Lox’s The Trinity project that was released in December 2013.

Atmosphere is slated to release their eighth studio album in May. Southsiders is set to be released on May 6, according to Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Columbus, Ohio native Blueprint announced that he’s releasing a new album. Respect The Architect is slated for a April 22 release via Weightless Recordings.

Castle is slated to release his Return of the Gasface (The Has-Lo Passages) album digitally on March 18 and physically on April 1.
