    1. they put god damn Dr. Dre in the title when Detox is at best a pipe dream but they leave out Trouble Man, fuck is this

    2. I believe the title says: ” Check HipHopDX’s Release Dates page for all your Hip Hop album needs.” so why in hell is Ne-Yo and Rihanna on the list? i mean really now! let us represent.

    3. Eeeh 50, obviously, radio is no longer behind you. You’ve droppped about six singles and all floppped. Stop being scurred and just release a freaking album already. The industry has changed, we’re not expecting you to do 10 million or even 2, so drop the album and stop worrying about being embarrassed.

You’ll do 300-500 thousand and that is good enough. As a raper you are relevant only when you are still putting out music. Yapping too much without anything behind it is just annoying. It doesn’t keep you in the game. We don’t want to hear how the other G-Uniters depend on you too much and can’t do for themselves(why you’d try and play them out like that, I don’t understand), we don’t want to keep hearing how Interscope is holding you back, they’re not and we don’t want to keep hearing about phantom dates. The longer it takes the lower your sales when you release the album. So just do it now.

At this rate, Tech Nine would have dropped 6 more albums by the time you do your next one. That’s if we do get it, because pretty soon those songs would be older than my grandmother and you’ll start talking about having to record a new album to fit “today’s” tastes and then that new album keeps getting delayed as well.

P.S. Being that you are getting so desperate for radio play and the hood isn’t feeling 50 no more, I hope that doesn’t make you give us total garbage in a bid for crossover appeal. PUHLEASE make sure there are no Candy Shop type tracks on the album. Please! Other than having little kids singing about blow *&#, that did not do anything for you and was a bad mark on hip hop. You want to reach back for a single, “21 Questions”, “If I Can’t”… You can do it 50.

      1. HHDX, can you do something about this fag. He is probably the lamest troll ever to grace this site. he knows he is not funny, now he is just being a dick. And also….50 saying he thinks detox might be an EP maybe is not a release date….it isnt anything

    4. sigh no jay electronica?…that would have been great to add to the rza, kendrick, ghostface, apollo and even the weeknd

    5. 2 let downs for me here, the first is Tech releasing yet another EP, I can’t stand when artists release EP’s, just make the fans wait a little longer and drop a full project, he should have combined EBAH and Boiling Point, still coppin just sayin, and the other thing that pisses me off is that I’ve been waiting forever for The Weeknd to drop a new project and what does he do, combine the 3 mixtapes I’ve been listening to patiently over and over again while waiting on new material from him, adds only 3 new tracks and thats his debut album. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of his music is unmatched in todays R&B game and I understand quality over quantity but there’s a limit, how long does he plan on riding the success of these 3 mixtapes for, eventually he will have to drop a full length project with all new material, but who knows when that shit will happen, oh well. On a side note, can’t wait for Sean P’s shit to drop…..P!!!!!!!!!!

    6. Cmon Fif, Damnit! I know Lighty dying had A LOT to do with this, people forget how close those two were. LOOKIN FOR THAT WU-BLOCK, TALIB KWELI, AND MAN WITH IRON FISTS!

    7. Ya shit pushed back cause it ain’t buzzin!

50 Cent got the lamest excuse on why he ain’t dropped an album since 2009 but he the truth is that he has no buzz and all his singles have failed even with crossover stars like Alicia Keyes and legends like Dr Dre on them…..he still got a huge white fanbase but he’s irrelevant in urban music.

    8. 50 cents music career is truly over. hes in the same spot as dre. except dre is coming to terms with the fact he’s finished. 50 cent knows if he drops an album right now it won’t perform. hes been hyping this album for YEARS. no one cares. detox is dead in the water. dre has burned every fan he had. they don’t care anymore, keep it. 50 cent is scared of flopping. his ego cant handle it. make good music and no one can say shit. too bad 50 isn’t in this to make good music. dr.dre been living off his name for years. his work doesn’t back it up. what kinda music icon is scared of public perception? rap is done for.

    9. 50 dick suckers get in line 3..2…1 he aint shit his carreer is dead for the next 400 post haha PEOPLE HATE SO MUCH THEY DONT KNOW THAT THEY DICKRIDERS

      1. @ 2 anon claim yourself clown. And nah, not in the least you think I care what you herbs think is popular?? NOPE. I’ll still bump what I like, that’s the problem with you crab ass lames, so worried bout what’s relevant, and who’s this and who’s that. Yep, I’m a 50 fan, have been since 97′. And what? Now what? I’m a FAN, just like I love Talib, Wu, Lox, Mos Def, Common, Etc. same way I like 50. You see, the PROBLEM with Hip Hop now is you CAN’T EVEN EXPRESS the fact you LOVE someone’s music in fear of being labled. BUT folks like me, keep it pushin’ when I just see these “DICKRIDING” comments makes me chuckle, it’s why I asked him to elaborate….I know that’s too much for you uneducated brothers, to formulate a decent response so I don’t tug too hard on that string. Peace and Love to you clowns.

@212 Kid, No need for a response your ignorance speaks to itself.

    10. you idiots dont understand the game he just lost his manager you cannnot continue with the project until all that paper work is cleared up.you say he has no buzz but his single charted higher than any of your favorite rappers all of rick false singles flopped he about to shoot a video with eminem. JUST BLAZE was on twitter talking about that song and he didnt even produce it the album is gonna be crazy he just did a promo for the NFL he is already booked for a tour next year and the album didnt even drop so while you sitting on the sidelines he gettin that paper.

      1. I was at BestBuy the rep told me it’s coming sometime in November, I couldn’t remember the date he gave me tho.

    11. Query for all you internet dummies out there since I have been labeled the defender of 50 on this site. If you hate the man so much and swear up and down he ain’t shit, why you WASTE you time, engery, and finger banging on the keyboard to TRY and further the point home he ain’t shit. If he ain’t shit, why is you checkin for him……or furthermore commenting about him? Never understood why you “hip hop” fans gravitate to shit you so seemingly hate………….maybe I’m slow. Lol….one.

      1. Man, I agree with u on what u saying there. People waste their fucken time hating on the artists they don’t like instead of supporting their fav artist. But….. you ALSO need to get the fuck off 50 nuts man, u are a dickrider and not a fan. Seriously

    12. Typically misleading just to get people to click on the story. There is no Detox release date. Good job Hiphopdx. Reliable as ever.

    13. “single charted higher than any of your favorite rappers”

Let’s not get carried away. It debuted at #79 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles. Your buddy Rick Ross is at #38 with that French Montana song, so give the fat dude a little credit.
