Quelle Chris has released his new album Innocent Country 2 with producer/instrumentalist Chris Keys. The duo’s 16-track LP features Earl Sweatshirt, Homeboy Sandman, Joseph Chilliams, Billy Woods and Denmark Vessey, among others.
“Where Innocent Country explored isolation Innocent Country 2 embraces community,” Chris explained to Pitchfork. “The overtones of pessimism in IC1 have been replaced with hope. This ‘country,’ presented as both the individual and the whole, has hands stained in blood. From action and inaction.”
He noted, “IC2 is not only about recognizing what makes us who we are, good and evil, but about acknowledging, growing, healing, helping, communicating, living, learning (and more verbs than I can attempt to write in a quote) together.”

Great! Quelle is one of my favorites.
Damn this shit is fireeeeeeeeeee
This dude and his wife are the king and queen of black nerd rappers not only is dudes voice super wack and annoying his beats are always lo-fi trashy sounding but its “underground” so you know who cares about sound quality just like 99% of all Mellow Music releases. They must have a team of sub par producers just cranking out these basic bland azz beats for there releases. Thats what you get from a label owned by some clown white dude in Arizona
Sounds beautiful, like the truth.
Love it when these “so called” creative types cant even think of a new album title lol that should be your fist sign that this album is trash can juice
Your not independent your not empowered your on a crappy hip hop label owned by an old white guy thats distributed by The Orchard which is owned by Sony. So after the old white dude gets a cut and asians get a cut then Quelle will get his 38 cents haha
