During the latest episode of LeBron James’ HBO series The Shop, Drake revealed where “The Story Of Adidon” took things too far.
The platinum-selling artist explained it was the line about OVO producer Noah 40 and his medical condition that upset him more than anything. Noah 40 has been battling multiple sclerosis — or MS — for quite some time.
Drake was adamant someone was going to punch Push in the face for the jab.
“Wishing death upon my friend who has MS … I study rap battles for a living,”he told James. “When you mention defenseless people who are sick in the hospital, who have passed away, I just believe that there’s a price you have to pay for that. It’s over! Someone’s gonna fucking punch you in the fucking face. The shit’s done, the event’s over.”
Pusha T — who wrote and executed the seething diss track — apparently found that funny.
Underneath a clip of the interview, Push left a series of laughing emojis.
The line in “The Story Of Adidon” Drake is referring to is as follows: “OVO 40, hunched over like he 80—tick, tick, tick/How much time he got? That man is sick, sick, sick.”
Apparently, when the G.O.O.D. Music President exposed Drake’s secret son, that wasn’t the bombshell people originally thought it was.

One minute talking about unity, black power, etc. And at the same time, will include lyrics about murdering their own (I could understand if its from a perspective of self defense), moving weight (as you’ve already mentioned), or consistently degrading black women any chance they get. Of course its not everyone though, a large number of those who do though.

This beef actually started all the way back in 2006 (before Drake was known) when Lil Wayne thought “Mr. Me Too” was about him and dissed Clipse. Drake jumped in on it because he was signed. Drake also made fun of Cudi’s mental illness, which kill more people than MS does. Do you take offense to that? 40 has jumped in multiple Drake beefs online, so it was only a matter of time before he was in this beef anyways. If this was too disrespectful for you, rap beefs might not be your thing.
The most offensive thing of this beef is that Pusha didn’t sample Drake’s lyric “I could never have a kid then be out here still kidding around” on the track…
