Project Pat‘s 21-year-old son Patrick Houston Jr. has sadly passed away after being shot at a Tennessee park.

According to TMZ, Patrick was found dead on Friday (January 17) after a shooting broke out around 1pm in the Imogene Heights area of Memphis. No further details are available as of this writing, but his funeral service is set for Saturday (January 25).

Pat has not yet commented on the loss.

Gillie Da King also tragically lost his son to gun violence not so long ago. In July 2023, YNG Cheese was killed in a triple shooting in Philadelphia.

The 25-year-old was taken to the hospital by police, and was pronounced dead later that night. A 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were also shot and taken to the hospital, with both men being placed in stable condition.

While he did not immediately speak about his son’s death, Gillie went on to break his silence a little over a week later.

“I Miss u like $hit Dev My heart will forever have a Black hole in it but u know ur father gotta be strong to hold the family up,” he wrote. “Thanks 4 all the support from family, friends, and all of my followers y’all really helping me get thru these ruff times Me and my family appreciate and love y’all [blue heart emoji].”

In July, Gillie and his family took out a video billboard in New York’s Times Square to commemorate the one year anniversary of Cheese’s death.

Along with the clip of the billboard — which featured Spady at various stages of his young life — Gillie wrote, “Long Live Cheese [crying emoji]. Miss u kid #WeGotChase.”
