Podcast Wars: Joe Budden Doesn’t Give Gillie Da Kid Slack For ‘All Lives Matter’ Rant

Gillie Da Kid, who helms his own Barstool Sports podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game alongside Wallo267, was recently forced to confront a newly surfaced video in which he utters the highly controversial phrase “All Lives Matter,” one he said is years old.

“So, I keep getting the same question, ‘Gillie, you always giving up game. Why you don’t ever give no game on Black Lives Matter?'” he said in the clip. “‘Cause I don’t get to that shit, nigga. All Lives Matter, nigga. I don’t give a fuck if you White, Black, blue, purple, brown, tangerine, NIGGA, All Lives Matter.”

But Joe Budden doesn’t care how long ago it was — he made it clear Gillie isn’t getting a pass during Episode 361 of The Joe Budden Podcast. After replaying Gillie’s comments, Budden says, “Oh so you don’t understand it?”

He then proceeds to play Gillie’s response to the backlash he faced last week.

“Woke up to a bunch of text messages today,” Gillie said. “‘Gillie, you trending No. 2 in the world.’ Oh, I see you bitches tried to put smut on my name.”

Budden replies, “No, you did that.”

The Gillie recording continues, “Y’all tried to poach something I said four years ago to try to act like it was in today’s climate. When I said that, white people weren’t even saying that at that time. Shout out to Black Lives Matter movement.”

Budden interjects, “Why?” as Gillie’s words continue to play: “I support y’all.” The former Slaughterhouse MC says, “No you don’t.”

With the swift click of a button, Budden stops the recording and is reluctant to listen to anymore, although he does play it for a few more seconds before bringing it to a halt.

As Budden’s co-hosts Jamil “Mal” Clay, Rory Farrell and Parks Vallely debate the topic, Budden refuses to give Gillie a pass.

“Yeah, I’m not caping for this nigga, man,” he says. “This nigga says and does a lotta stupid, doofy, goofball shit and ever since he got that Barstool deal, it’s amplified. I’m not dignifying any conversation about the response to Black Lives Matter being it should matter to black people.

Fans Mercilessly Cancel Gillie Da Kid After He Screams 'All Lives Matter'

“You’ve missed the point. And if you’re not bright enough to get the point, then what the fuck are you talking about the point for?”

Budden’s comments come around the 2-hour and 16-minute mark. Watch the full conversation above.

    1. Don’t give a fuck about what y’all say: I stand with Gillie on this one. Fuck all these oncle tom nikkas shoutin BLM when it suits them and skippin the cause when it comes to black on black crime. Only boneheads like Joe Budden would twist this shit up to show off as leaders or supporters of a movement they clearly didn’t grasp its core in the first place. Yes the BLM movement was initially launched to raise awareness among the states about police brutality against black folks. But then it evolved as a movement fighting crime against black people in general. No matter who is on the other side of the gun. That’s what Gille said. If y’all ignorant fucks really mean “BLM” then y’all should also shout it when black on black crime happens. Fuck y’all for having a selective outrage only when it suits you!

      1. BLM has nothing to do with black on black crime. You just want it to so it fits your narrative. There’s a stark difference between an officer of the law killing an innocent unarmed black man and two thugs shooting at each other. White Trumptards love to try and blur the line thou. They’re totally different things.

        1. “There’s a stark difference between an officer of the law killing an innocent unarmed black man and two thugs shooting at each other”…. but the final result is the same: a black man gettin killed (usually over nothin) by an Israeli or a Russian gun he bought in the black market for a cheap price. And when it happens people like you don’t feel the need to raise their voice in the neighborhood to address the situation. You just keepin on goin on with your life cause you clearly don’t give a fuck. But when police brutality is being committed against black people all of sudden your so called political consciousness is woke up to denounce how black people are endangered species. Hypocrisy at its paroxysm. FOH!

        2. Black, white, brown, and Asian don’t support this movement if they really know what it’s about. It should be changed to “Only Certain Black Lives Matter.” It’s a bad joke. One that too many people are quick to jump into cause either they don’t want to be “canceled,” or they just want something to belong to. Critical thinking is usually not any celebrities’ strong suit. It’s the push to stay away from the woke mob. Also, unarmed does not mean not dangerous. Some people don’t seem to understand that. But hey, the last time there was peaceful riots it cured the Covid. Maybe it will cure the Covid again. Time will tell.

    2. Gillie was spot on even in todays climate. Budden does what budden do. Tries to act smart, walking around the issue talking about “the point” without saying what the point is. Budden is just like any other ignorant sjw. Climate now is far more than just blm. Its turning into something very dangerous, but i guess he missed the point

    3. Listen everyone on here talking about gillie is right need to shut up because for one your WHITE so you have no authority to speak on this convo and second you cant use black on black crime as an excuse for us constantly getting harassed and brutalize by racist cops

      1. Define constantly. Also, I thought “silence was violence”. And another thing, black lives matter isn’t about black lives. It’s about Marxism. It’s using these instances as a way to push their political movement. Anyone who follows this doesn’t care to do any research. And another thing, all lives matter.

      2. Allen your lack of understanding is concerning. Commenters are referring to the underlying motives attached to BLM that aren’t exactly transparent. It’s so hard to watch individuals like you miss the queues

      3. You a fucking racist it’s all being made up in your mind have pity for me more and more everyone is enslaved you stupid.mother fuckers are being used to create a race war easier to have the people.kill each other then us but nah your all stuck on the slave shit YET BLM IS FUNDED BY RICH WHITE JOOS THAT ARE PART OF ORIGNAL SLAVE OWNERS FAMILY BLOODLINE.

    4. Gillie stupid. He got shot over some street shit. So he was involved in criminal activities. What does this have to do with police brutality or his attackers being black? He’s like he was minding his business and got shot.

      1. Exactly, and it’s actually not hard to grasp, it’s just the convenient go-to for racists, or in Gillie’s case, the ignorant. Like the nigga that shot him had a badge and took an oath to protect and serve smh. White people kill White people. Hispanics kill Hispanics and so on and so forth. Trying to combine police brutality in with that is childish and Joe’s right, Gillie been on some bullshit for a while now and nobody calls him out on it. It’s about that time…

      2. Exactly and gillie robbed a lot of people and did numerous of things himself to his own people what kind of game is this

    5. So if firefighters stop saving black people from blazing infernos, would you ignorant ass, racist, red neck, hillbilly cucks combine that with black on black violence too??

      1. No, but if a video of one firefighter doing that went viral and a bunch of morons suggested that the one video was evidence of a pattern and evidence that the entire country was racist, I’d still call them out on their bs. Just like there are over a hundred million interactions between cops and black civilians each year, but one video of an unfortunate interaction goes viral, and it’s suddenly taken as evidence that the entire country has a racism issue and that we don’t value black lives, even though the cops on the video have been charged with murder, meaning justice is being served. If people extrapolated one instance of a potentiallyl racist firefighter to mean that AFFAB, I’d still call them stupid and point out that they are at much higher risk of dying because of street violence from other black civilians than in a fire that someone refused to put out, thus rendering their indignation completely stupid and self righteous.

        1. Got it, but you also need to realize that if videos weren’t going viral, chances are, convictions wouldn’t happen. There’s too many instances where that’s been the case, hence the whole “movement” beginning in the first place. Hell, there’s too many videos that went viral and officers still got off…

    6. the truth hurts and as a Blackman I will say Gilly is right, a lot of you are idiots btw, Gillie never said police injustice shouldn’t be corrected, he said we just need to stop killing ourselves as well which he is fully right, lets stop making excuses and recognize we have an issue whether it be systemic or pure ignorance, eitherway the killing of our own needs to stop immediately, most of my fellow brothers and sisters will deny until its your child whose killed in these streets, then you’ll get pissed, ive lost 4 friends to black on black crime here in Baltimore and it sucks, 104 people shot in one weekend is crazy and for some of you to keep brushing it off is foolish at best, we kill each other more than any other hate group, yall need to wake tf up and stop following trends and trap activist like t.i….form your own decisions, we can fight both issues black on black and police brutality, but we need to fix in house waaaay more….whats so hard to understand about that lol

      1. Gillie is right, but it’s a separate conversation. The fact of the matter is blacks kill more blacks, whites kill more whites, and so on and so on. Just another method used on us, and unfortunately, by us, to take focus away from injustice…BLM.

        1. I support blm somewhat, its not fully managed by us as a people and it is a separate conversation but my point is brother its a conversation that should’ve been addressed 1st and continually gets slept on, i know if I leave my house right now here in Baltimore im 5x more likely to get killed by someone who looks like me rather than the police and its said both ways but mainly by us killing each other, there was a baby killed in both Chicago and baltimore and Atlanta recently from black on black crime, where’s the outrage, show the same energy to blackklansman as you do the police, again police shouldn’t be left off the hook, but police killing us pales in comparison to us killing us….again idc if its systemic or lack of education it just needs to end….and no i don’t know how to end it, but I know us sweeping it under the rug doesn’t help….if im an uncle tom.for being fed up, then I own it.

      2. When you bring it up as a counter argument, it’s almost like you’re saying one justifies the other. When 9/11 happened, nobody gave a shit about all the mass killings, active shooters and other destruction that Americans do to other Americans (and across the world really), because it’s a separate conversation….
