PMD Teams With Sean Strange & Snowgoons For The Goondox

    Long Island veteran PMD has announced a slew of new projects for 2013, including a side-project with the Snowgoons.

    According to a recent press release, Parrish Making Dollars, one half of the iconic EPMD, has linked up with fellow Queens representative Sean Strange and German production team the Snowgoons for a new side project called the Goondox. The crew is slated to release its debut album Welcome to the Goondox this April 9th.

    Welcome to the Goondox boasts features from a host of emcees, including Jus Allah, Smoothe Da HustlerSwollen Members, Esoteric, Reef the Lost Cauze and more.

    Goondox isn’t the only project PMD has slated for release in 2013, however. The veteran emcee will also release his fifth solo album Handle Your Business on May 5th, as well as a DVD documenting the Hit Squad‘s 2012 tour. The crew will also join forces on the DJ Rondevu-hosted 2 Turntables & A Microphone mixtape, featuring PMD, Redman, K-Solo, Das EFX, Keith Murray, DJ Scratch, Tom J from the Knucklehedz, Sean Strange, Method Man and more. The tape releases on February 27th. PMD will also embark on a solo tour March 29th in Milan, Italy, and will set of the U.S. leg in New York City, New York on April 8th.

    “It’s just good to be independent at a time where Hip Hop needs to be educated. We switched to being forced on our growth to being creative again,” PMD said in a statement.

    Last year, Parrish’s longtime music partner Erick Sermon released a solo mixtape of his own, Breath of Fresh Air.

      1. I think the comments are a little too out there racially, but I wonder what PMD has been doing these last few years that only now he decides to revive his career. He won’t get any radio play, very few would have heard of the project and he is dropping it in a couple weeks with no real set up. Yet another guaranteed failure. If you gonna do something, do it right.

      2. K-Solo is full of shit as well. When was the last you even heard someone talking about him??? He’s wack

    1. LOl sean strange what a joke he should feel privileged, this will be the only time he will get to be next to a legend let alone rhyme on a track with one..
      Just when you think hiphop could not get any worse…pathetic
      Oh and yeah I know someone on here is gonna get cute and try to say someeething but it all does not matter cause me and your mom have a good thing going on..

      1. then you actually weren’t an epmd fan. or you are one of those clowns that just hears music and doesn’t really listen or register what the lyrics are saying?

      2. Can’t be a true fan just skimming through the music. Parrish Makin’ Dollars can be heard on tons of his songs. To educate a fellow fan even further, Parrish Microphone Doctor is another alias that PMD stands for.

    2. I just had to hate on this bullshit: ain’t no one ever cared for PMD after EPMD broke up, and doing this shit ain’t gonna do him anything.

    3. pmd was good 14 years ago. who the hell is sean strange he sucks, he yells in his raps like lil jon {seriously}
