Pittsburgh Rapper Flatline Nizzy Shot In The Head

Nathan Freeman — better known as Pittsburg rapper Flatline Nizzy — was reportedly shot and killed on Monday morning (May 3).

According to Action News 4, Freeman’s body was discovered around 1:30 a.m. local time in the western Pennsylvania area of McKnees Rocks with a bullet wound to the head.

Nizzy’s last Instagram post, dated April 10, showed the 24-year-old flipping off the camera with the caption, “Most hated but Ik they really love him.” As soon as the news broke Nizzy had died, people started flooding the photo with “RIPs.”

Flatline Nizzy was starting to gain traction with songs such as “Yuknw,” “Packs In” and “Rent Due” featuring Kwon Bandz and the late Jimmy Wopo. His most recent project, March 28, arrived last month, but his criminal past was often a subject of disdain for him on social media. In another Instagram post, he talked about his trouble with law enforcement.

“Everybody on this project 100,” he wrote. “12:00 March 28th make it a year since I wasn’t [supposed] to be here. Been missing in action cuz police hating on me nothing but crabs in a bucket out here. I accept everything that comes with it it’s what I chose… loading up BIG STAIN.”

Sacramento Rapper Hotboy Ju Reportedly Killed In Broad Daylight During Car-To-Car Shooting

The Allegheny County Police are investigating the crime and no suspects have been identified. Flatline Nizzy’s death follows a string of recent fatal shootings involving rappers. Pop Smoke, King Von, Mo3, San Diego rapper OG YD and Hot Boy Ju have all lost their lives to gun violence at absurdly young ages.

    1. Now im starting to wonder who be killing all these gen z rappers ? If they busy in the studio, performing, etc. how do they make enemies that want to kill them ? I dont see no attempts on OG rappers lives (besides Boosie) and they be out on the streets too. So what are these young rappers doing ? Are they really making all this money from music ? Or is it all one big lie on social media and all these rappers are broke as fuck in the hood ?

      1. Ask the rappers themselves. My theory is that they get into beef on the come up, make a name and it evokes more violence from their foes. You see a difference from those glorifying that lifestyle and those that stay away from it. Your question is not one of chess, but checkers. No disrespect. Plus the record labels are more prone to put a gun toting gangsta on the front lines because we’ve been conditioned to accept violence, misogyny, hate, tattooed up, braided non investing artists sell. Do the knowledge. Clear your mind. It’s clear as daylight for those of us that are.

    2. Homie just wanted to make sure Nizzy’s name fit the bill. You can’t be Flatline if you got a pulse.

      1. What about that one group, The Flatlinerz, from back in y’all day? Pretty sure they all had pulses.
