NBA Youngboy and T.I. have teamed up to pay homage to late Grand Hustle VP Clay Evans on their new track, “LLOGCLAY.”
Evans — one of the founding staff members of T.I.’s imprint who also served as Lil Duval’s manager for close to a decade — passed away on March 24, 2023, about two weeks after suffering a massive stroke from which he never fully recovered.

“I miss my guy Flamingo aka Clay everyday. Still want to pick up the phone & hit him to talk sh#t or even ask for advice. @tip @atlsnake we definitely set a blueprint that many followed & that’s impact! Tip’s dropping a new record this Friday to commemorate our brother.”
Upon his passing last year, a number of artists whose careers have been touched by Clay Evans shared their sorrow over his passing in the comments of the family’s announcement, including Diddy, 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Big Boi, Pharrell, Bun B, Jermaine Dupri, Waka Flocka Flame, Don Toliver and more.
Among his numerous tributes to his friend and manager, Lil Duval recounted the ways in which Clay Evans supported him over the past year, as he fought his way back from a tragic accident that left him paralyzed and wheelchair-bound for most of 2022.

“As much of a legend and OG he was he still was humble enough to wait on me hand and foot when i was down. He even went to the store and bout me underwear when i was in the hospital. He was over real.”
