Meek Mill Concert Shooting Victims’ Families Reportedly Demanding $6M

The families of two people who were shot outside of a Meek Mill concert in 2016 are reportedly seeking $6 million to settle their lawsuits against Meek. According to The Blast, court documents were filed by the estates of Jaquan Graves and Travis Ward on November 21.

Both parties state they are willing to accept $3 million each in order to drop their wrongful death lawsuits they filed against the South Philly native last year.

They both alleged Meek, the Oakdale Musical Theatre Company in Connecticut where the concert was held and Live Nation were negligent in handling security of the concert. They also claimed Meek’s lyrics promote violence.

Meek has denied any involvement in the shootings, explaining they were simply out of his control.

Despite the lawsuit, Meek is getting ready to hit the road once again. On Monday (November 26), the Dreamchasers boss announced a string of tour dates in support of his forthcoming Championships album. Dubbed The Motivation Tour, the 16-city tour will kick off on February 19 in Miami and wrap up March 24 in Atlanta.

HipHopDX has reached out to Meek’s team in regard to the lawsuits but hasn’t heard back as of publication time
