Meek Mill allegedly gave the court water, not urine, during a drug test, according to documents presented at the rapper’s probation hearing yesterday (December 10).
Per TMZ, the Philadelphia rapper reportedly told the lab technician that his urine appeared atypical because he had recently consumed a large amount of water. He also said that he drank protein shakes given his status as a bodybuilder, which also altered the composition of his urine.
During her testimony on Meek Mill’s behalf yesterday, Nicki Minaj said that her boyfriend does not do drugs and did not try to cheat on his urine test.
Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley said yesterday that the believes Meek Mill was not being forthright about his drug test.
The ruling on whether or not Meek Mill violated his probation has been continued until December 17.
Meek Mill’s hearing yesterday was called because he may have violated portions of the probation stipulations that were enacted due to drug and gun charges he faced in 2008.
Being on probation may be why Meek Mill allegedly gave the court water, not urine, during a drug test.
