MC Shan suggests that KRS-One may have been one of Afrika Bambaataa’s victims.
During an appearance on the Murder Master Music Show, MC Shan offered his thoughts on the numerous molestation allegations made against Afrika Bambaataa. He also addressed KRS-One, who he referred to as “an opportunist,” coming to the defense of the Hip Hop pioneer.
MC Shan spoke on KRS being criticized by the industry for coming to the defense of an alleged child molester, and later suggested that KRS-One “might’ve been” one of the boys Bambaataa molested.
“You just running off at the lip,” MC Shan said. “Not thinking or being conscious of what you said. Now the whole industry is out on your head. Talking about ‘How can you defend a child molester’…You gotta look at the history with him and Bam. He might’ve been one of those. So, I don’t know. I’m just alleged. Let’s not get sued. I don’t know…I’ve even started looking at some of his lectures. And the folks that follow his lectures is just people that need to be led by somebody and something.”
At one point in the interview, MC Shan revealed that he was molested when he was a child.
“His legacy is tarnished, period,” he said. “Bambaataa’s legacy is tarnished…You used that whole movement to manipulate these young men…I had a mothafucka–And I ain’t ashamed to say it. Cause mothafucka when you kids, mothafuckas do shit to you. I had a mothafucka touch me when I was young. So, I hate mothafuckas like Bambaataa. And mothafuckas always be on some fuckin’ ‘Why you so against faggots, Shan? You a homo hater.’ That ain’t it. Cause y’all niggas like to touch mothafuckin’ little boys.”

There are many pedophiles in our community that are getting away with the shit they do because kids are too scared to speak up. I was molested by a woman when I was five. Hell yay, my views on lesbians has been tainted. As this babysitter was lesbian. So I can understand to some degree how men feel when they have been molested by the same gender.
