Machine Gun Kelly Thinks Eminem “Missed” With “Killshot”

Machine Gun Kelly has (once again) told the public what he really thinks of Eminem’s “Killshot” diss track. Over the weekend, MGK posted an Instagram photo of himself onstage wearing a t-shirt with the “Killshot” single art on the front and throwing up his middle finger.

“He missed,” MGK wrote in the caption. From there, he let his emojis do the rest of the talking and added “#legshot #rapdevilisstillNUMBERONE #letstalkaboutit” at the end.

MGK fired back at Eminem with “Rap Devil” on September 3 after Slim Shady dissed him on his surprise Kamikaze album earlier this month. As Hip Hop fans wondered what the next move was, Em seemed torn on what he was going to do.

He told Sway Calloway, “I’m in this fuckin’ weird thing ’cause I’m like, ‘I gotta answer this mother fucker.’ Every time I do that — as irrelevant as people think I am in Hip Hop — I make them bigger. So, I’m getting into this thing where I want to destroy him, but I also don’t want to make him bigger. Because now, you’re a fuckin’ enemy.

“I’ll leave it at that. I’m not sure exactly what I’m going to at this point.”

Em clearly couldn’t resist the opportunity and delivered “Killshot” last Friday (September 14). [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

MGK is prepping the release of his new Binge EP, which is expected to arrive on September 21.

      1. Bruh shut up you hell dumb if you think the content is not good as his because of his open for fall out bouy mgk has best selling album for song on anything.

        1. Lol you must be dumb wow em Nevers opens for anybody when he is on tour. Wow bro check the facts homie numbers don’t lie and as for mgk top selling lol wow you just foolish

        2. I have no clue what your trying say, but MGK never had a top selling album… ever.

But this has nothing to do with the fact that he’s been making studio albums since 2012, But is still an opening act… for a rock group.

    1. Hahaha.. missed, yeah right. Killshot is about as full on a hit as you could possibly fucking get!
The lyrical skills on that track is crazy.

      1. MGK is really reaching, calling out EM just so that the media will take a Second Glance at him ,and if I was Eminem I wouldn’t even take it as a DiS cuz obviously the pills have gotten to him and the kid needs rehab again, the last program didn’t work of him, MGK knows his RAP career is reaching its peak and the little bit of light that did shine on him wasn’t even enough to see him in Eminem shadow with his one hit wonders BS, its a shame to even see mgk’s name on the same page as EMINEM’S even if its to put MGK IN HIS PLACE. MGK IS LIKE IT WOULD BE LIKE IF I SEEN A MY SWEET 16 TEEN episode. He’ll get off his cycle in a few days and realize he tried to become a woman too early in the game. Then he will change his name to DGK and try to make a better name 4 himself. Lol sorry to tell ya his future I know you expect more LOL but wait u just realized u didn’t. it was just a phase haha i out ?❌?

      2. And how old are you. Get the foook outta here with your elementary level of rap lyrics Eminem would end this clowns career if he wanted to. All he did was give him a tap in this one here bet the next one he puts out will kill. Oh and that other clown talking em has issues that mgk exposed. The fuck you talking about bro he said shit that em has said since the 90s get your knowledge up you clowns. As em said the rap today isn’t rap it’s friends talking about what they got. Oh what also funny is Iggy azelea talking like she has some clout as an mc the fuck is this chick talking about.

    2. He did miss. Killshot was essentially just Em talking about how much more famous he is and how much more money he has than MGK while Rap Devil exposed people to an ugly pathetic side of Em that people didn’t know about.

That’s why MGK is winning so far, Em hasn’t said shit about MGK we didn’t already know. MGK exposed Marshall as this hyperemotional and sensitive thing who contacts label heads crying for apologies over tweets after being a fucking bully for half of his career.

      1. It was more than that…like the release date was september 14th…the death date of patrick swayze…so the line saying one call to interscope and youre swayze (reference to movie ghost)

Even the title…killshot was a movie where the lead whose name was carmen colson was being tracked down by a psychopathic hitman…mgks first name is colson.

Every single line is an epic bar, the mgk fangirls just cant admit defeat…

        1. Alex you can’t teach these youngsters about real lyrics they are the same idiots who actually think lil can and tekeashi 69 is good lol oh and also lil pump. I mean come on are they for real. Mgk is a decent mc but can anybody really act like this dude was relavent until now… As em said I had to give you a career to destroy it. Lol that’s so true in so many ways. Opening for fall out boy and then was gonna open for Linkin Park but I think cheater was so depressed that he had to deal with mgk that he killed himself.. just playing though about Chester that dude was the best I actually was going to that concert and that shit happened. No joke bought my tickets not even 10 mins before the news if his death was announced on Google shit was sad.

        2. Which doesn’t mean shit, those lines are dope throwaways in a regular verse but in a battle they’d don’t mean shit, battling is about personals, it’s about tearing your opponents character down. That’s why No Vaseline, Hit Em Up etc are considered the greatest diss track and of all time. They weren’t about intricate rhyme schemes and metaphors they were character assassinations. Em saying “I hadn’t to give you a career to destroy it” is wack because it’s false, he was already signed to a multi million dollar deal with a major record label and touring the world but Stans are hailing it as a great diss, it’s not, it’s fucking garbage that barr.

But what does this 40 year old know, I’m just a “youngin” right? *yawwwwwnnnnn*

        1. I’ll cut my man bun whenever you cut your throat, we got a deal?

Over my head LMFAO Eminem isn’t intelligent enough to spit something that goes over my head, dude has an IQ equivelant to a 14 year old hahahaha

    3. Yeah sure….specially buying t-shirt and posing for a pic in someone else’s concert just to show he still got fans, clearly mgk won this battle.

      1. This…dude is opening for a rock group and acting like it’s his tour. Fuck this kid. He’s not even a part of the culture.

    4. You are Drunk, High, or just plain stupid if you think MGK’s verse out Barred Eminems.
You should have your Hip Hop card revoked.
MGK had a better beat and a chorus, so all these little teeny boppers can’t stop riding his dick, for being sub par to eminem, so they have to call all the people who realize Eminem is the better rapper a Stan, even tho MGK is SELF ADMITTEDLY the single biggest Stan of all time.

Eminem Bodied, MGK, You kids don’t listen to lyrics any more, each bar had a deepness that flew over everyones head.
Like the just one call to interscope and you Swayze, Patrick Swayze Death was on the same day Killshot Dropped, 9 years prior.
Most people didn’t pick that up, but thats deep.

Dude responded to EVERY single bar that MGK through at him, and tore him a new one,
If you think MGK is winning, other than the fact it got him more recognition and a boost in sales,
you know nothing about BAR Structure in verses.

        1. “Lethal injection
Go to sleep six feet deep, I’ll give you a B for the effort
          But if I was three-foot-eleven
You’d look up to me, and for the record
You would suck a dick to fuckin’ be me for a second”

    5. He’s right, but he needs to put in a rap. Nobody wants to re-listen to that stutter, choppy flow Em used in the diss.

    6. I don’t know if this dude is downright stupid or he plays one. Of course rap devil will show on iTunes charts because Em didn’t even released Killshot on iTunes. He sont need sale money like that.

If water gun Kelly really wants to see records, just go to YouTube and see Killshot views.

    7. MGK more poppin now than ever and it isn’t for any of his actual songs. This is 2018 hip hop i guess. You kids are so obsessed with the socials.

    8. First off, this emoji ? is a bullseye emoji, which means Em hit exactly where he was aiming. Secondly, MGK already made a statement immediately following the release of Killshot about it being “trash”, so the fact that MGK feels he need to repeat himself just proves that the diss got under MGK’s skin and hit it’s mark. LMFAO!!!

    9. Em’s whole song was “I’m richer, more famous and politically connected than you”.. at least that’s what It seemed liked. He had some good lines and wordplay but to me it just fortified what MGK was saying. Both good tracks though and ultimately it brings more listeners.

      1. You might have a point if it wasn’t for the fact that in Rap Devil MGK specifically went at him for being rich. Em just responded. As far as the fame and connections, that’s a direct response the whole , “you’re old and I’m the younger you” shit MGK was talking about. Em just responded again, saying, ‘well, when I was your age I had millions of more fans and a lot more money, you’re not the younger me….you’re the WACK me.’ It’s not like Em just came out of his face bragging about how rich he is. But I don’t really expect MGK fans to understand this. That’s the only problem with Em’s diss–it’s too smart for a lot of you, because anybody with a half a brain would realize MGK got killed. He should have saved one verse to dumb his shit down so the dunces out there could understand it.

    10. No one brings up the fact that MGK out here on tour opening for a rock group? He’s on Fall Out Boys tour and is posting these arena pictures on the gram acting like it’s his tour LOL FOH

    11. Rap Devil was a decent melody BUT lyrically get got murdered.

If anyone claims Rap Devil was better… they basically confirm they are casual fans of rap and not a hip hop head.

Sad but like many celebrities (em included) hes obviously sheltered and surrounded by yes men who are afraid to tell him the truth.

    12. First of all.. He did not miss with Killshot.. That was clear hit and that’s why you’re bitching about it..
Secondly.. Who gives flying f’ about what you think Kelly? You’re not Hiphop, you’re not rap? You’re not even a decent rapper? Only hit you’ve made is a song where you complement Eminem.. ?

    13. MGK thinks he missed? FUCK NO that was a headshot. Em releases a whole diss ALBUM and your only response is one song. Rap God wins

    14. When people realize MGK needed another lyricist to help him write the Rap Devil diss track they’d probably get how lame he is.. Killshot was direct to the head.. man bun Kelly can keep posing and eating cereal.

    15. KILLSHOT is murderous. I admit that when I first it I was still questioning whether I liked it better than MGK’s shit. But after a few more listens I think its easily going to be a seen as a classic diss track. Goddamn, Eminem goes HARD. His bars are insane on this, and for those people who critique Em for bragging about his fame, those bars are intended as a response to MGK’s claims that he fell off and should hang it up because he’s old af. That “I’d rather be 80yr old me, than 20yr old you” line is some straight up classic battle rap shit. I think that maybe people find Killshot kinda lukewarm because it didn’t have (1) a video, and (2) a “Clarence” moment, like MGK’s did (with the Shade45 shit), and while I don’t give a fuck that there isn’t a video, I admit that the second point’s true. But even without a revelatory / surprise-fact moment, Killshot still goes WAY HARDER than Rap Devil.

    16. Kelly knew he lost with rap devil before it even released why else would someone be eating their last meal and carrying around a shovel I mean shevel. In the music video to a diss track with an autotune hook. With petty diss bars a you expect to hear from a 10yr old

    17. Did you know killshot is a movie from 2008 where they kill the Colson’s.

      Colson being MGK’s real name.

Eminem litterally thought of everything with that diss. It just keeps hitting,

    18. I like how everyone ignores that an Eminem stan posted a diss that was better than both disses lol, i hate mgk but Eminem did absolutely nothing with his diss either, Kelly’s diss was far less technical but it was way more personal which is what dissings all about, so to reiterate, the stan wins with kelly far behind and eminems wealth bragging at the bottom, I’m a fan of eminem but i don’t let people think for me 🙂

    19. I don’t believe in ghosts, Kelly. Stop speaking from the grave and enjoy your posthumous 15 minutes of fame.

Line for line, bar for bar, it was a no contest. Kelly was thoroughly and meticulously beaten by Eminem.

    20. it’s funny cause he tricked the audience (which are fallout boys fans) into that picture, and got booed off stage when he revealed what the picture was for and throughout performing rap devil. xD

    21. Repost

“I read from someone who was there that, while wearing a jacket, he asked the crowd to throw the finger up because he wanted to take a picture. He turned around took off the jacket and took the picture. Also, hes opening for Fallout Boy. Those aren’t his fans.|

      #real #legshot #killshot

    22. Rap devil was catchy EM was right that was good for him. I listened to the whole album Binge it was mumble rap garbage. Kill Shot said it all in the title EM didnt even have to respond kelly just killed his own career with another crap album just this time all the attention is on this album. He lied on the breakfast club about having a response track cause any MC woulda answered a massive diss like killshot calling him a rambo outa ammo. Everything EM has said has been straight fact. kelly is a lying drugged out mumble rapper that no matter how much money diddy hands him his greatest moment was his rap devil track that was #1 on i tunes for a day. BTW check out his new EP Binge if you want a new cup coaster for your coffee table cause that about all its good for.
