After Eminem called out Machine Gun Kelly on the Kamikaze track “Not Alike,” MGK is back with a diss track aimed at his former “idol.”
Titled “Rap Devil,” the roughly five-minute song finds MGK laying into Em over Shady’s 2013 track “Rap God.”
From jabs about his sobriety and “weird beard” to accusations Em tried to have Paul Rosenberg shelve MGK’s career, the Cleveland-bred rapper goes into full-on battle mode.
“Tough talk from a rapper paying millions for security a year,” he raps. “I think my dad’s gone crazy,’ yeah Hailie you right/Dad’s always mad cooped up in the studio yelling at the mic/You’re sober and bored, huh (I know)/About to be 46 years old, dog.”

MGK addressed his decision to release the track via Twitter on Monday morning (September 3) and insinuated it was his responsibility to defend an entire generation of rappers.
“I’m standing up for not just myself, but my generation,” he wrote.” im doing the same shit you did back in ur day. life is still real on my side, and i had to take time from the grind to defend myself from someone i called an idol. love, Rap Devil.”
Em’s line about MGK stems from a 2012 tweet. MGK wrote Shady’s daughter Hailie was “hot as fuck,” which evidently didn’t sit well with Em.
“And I’m talking to you but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly/ I don’t use sublims and sure as fuck don’t sneak-diss/ But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie,” he spits on “Not Alike.”

MGK’s initial reaction was to bust out the champagne but clearly he spent some time over the weekend plotting his response to someone he initially said inspired him to rap.
