Machine Gun Kelly is quite the fan of his girlfriend Megan Fox’s latest photo shoot – making sure to let her know exactly just how much with a colorful comment.

The set of new pics arrived on the Expend4bles actor’s Instagram on Saturday (July 15), in which she rocks a very tiny bikini while posing among the trees.

“The forest is my oldest friend,” Fox captioned the post.

Giving his stamp of approval in the most MGK way possible, the Cleveland musician commented: “If this is what a wild animal looks like, i’d let it maul me.”

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox first confirmed their relationship in June of 2020 after sparking dating rumors following the latter’s appearance in MGK’s “Bloody Valentine” music video. In October of the same year, MGK told NME their whirlwind romance was part of the inspiration for his fifth studio album, which became his first to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The pair got engaged in January of 2022, but after a big blowup in February 2023, the engagement is on pause as they work toward a reconciliation.

“They are slowly working on reconciling but he’s totally in the doghouse still,” an alleged friend of the pair told PEOPLE in May. “He’s doing whatever he can to get her back, and she’s making him work for it. It’s still an unhealthy dynamic though, and their friends just don’t see this lasting.”

They continued: “He has a lot of proving himself to do, and he doesn’t want to give her up. He is great with her kids and super hands on. It’s a work in progress.”

On the music side of things, Machine Gun Kelly released his new single “Pressure” in May – returning to his rap roots after pivoting to pop/punk on his last two albums.

The track hears MGK revisit some of his past while putting his legacy under a microscope — all of which he does over three different beat changes. “Pressure” starts out as a bass, hi-hat heavy track, then it transitions into a chopped and screwed-like variation, before crash landing on an up-tempo vibe.

I was 11 (Damn)/ Sharin’ a bed with my dad but didn’t have a bedroom/ In a recession (Yeah)/ Six of us in a Ford Explorer, didn’t have leg-room,” Machine Gun Kelly raps on the track “Everything’s destined (So)/ It was inevitable I take on his aggression/ Mad at the world ’cause I’m feelin’ rejected/ Guess that I gotta die to be a legend.”

The track is expected to live on his forthcoming seventh studio album.
