No stranger to controversial topics, Lord Jamar was recently asked to share his thoughts on Lil Kim’s alleged skin bleaching, during an interview with Vlad TV.
Lord Jamar didn’t give a direct answer when asked if Lil Kim has used bleaching to lighten her skin, but did acknowledge that the Brooklyn rapper’s look has changed drastically over the years.
The Brand Nubian lyricist also shared his belief that Kim “didn’t believe” she was pretty.
“I know she’s done a lot of things to herself,” Lord Jamar said. “That a lot of us who love her believe she shouldn’t have done. I’m not keeping track of every procedure that she’s having, but when you show me that picture right there. Yeah, that look like a much lighter Kim than I knew. That we all knew when she first came out…She didn’t believe that. So, it doesn’t matter what we thought. And now it’s like I can still tell that’s her, but it’s like she don’t look nothing like how she started out as.”
Lord Jamar later offered his theory on why plastic surgery has become more acceptable in today’s society. According to the rapper, putting artificial products in our bodies has gradually become the norm.
“I think why we’re so accepting of a lot of this artificial shit is because most of the time we’re putting–You are what you eat, so you’re putting artificial shit in your body all the time,” he said. “Since birth you’ve been eating artificial foods and colorings and flavors. Everything’s artificial, so why not? Why not your hair be artificial? Your eyes, your titties, your ass.”

Everyone here is making fun of Lord Jamar, yet no one’s disagreeing with his assessment that Lil Kim didn’t feel pretty enough. So for all of Lord Jamar’s faults, I’m going to have to agree with what he’s saying.

What I’m starting to peep from Vlad is that he does like a 2 hour interview and chop it up into a bunch of 10 or 15 minute interviews instead of SHOWING THE WHOLE THING!! That’s why Lord Jamar seems to be on there a lot. He probably talked to Lord Jamar for about 8 hours and then chopped it up LOL.
