Lil Yachty recently poked fun at Drake‘s fashion choice in the comments section of a social media post made by the Toronto rapper, resulting in a hysterical war of words.

On Friday (July 7), Drizzy posted a series of photographs from his ongoing It’s All a Blur tour with 21 Savage. In the first image, he can be seen standing in a DJ booth wearing what appears to be diamond earrings.

Cool and serious though the post may seem, Yachty took to the comments section soon after it went live and wrote: “Boy got them heavy hangers in his ear.”

The OVO boss responded immediately, saying: GET OUT MY COMMENTS YOU TOLD ME TO PAINT MY NAILS SO I STOP BITING THEM AND NOW THE WORLD IS BEING HOMOPHOBIC FOR THE 1st TIME SINCE RICH FLEX…which wasn’t that long ago now that I think about it…wait is the world homophobic? Smh.”

Lil Boat then hit back with: “woo-sah brother, your not supposed to have these episodes in public, it’s fine. They just don’t get u bro #UDIFFERENTAF.”

The pair have a friendship that often takes shape in the form of comedy gold. Last month, Yachty devised a creative way to raise $500,000 in no time with the help of his buddy.

As he joined the “Hotline Bling” singer for a live stream with Stake via Kick, he devised a way to get his hands on some cold, hard cash by raising money from selling Drake’s half-eaten pizza.

That same day, Yachty posted the half-eaten slice to his Instagram Story with the caption: “Selling this drake bit slice for $500k.”

Wealth has been a recurring theme in the pair’s bond. Drake is known for being a bit of a jewelry aficionado, and he added to his lavish collection thanks to an icy chain gifted to him by Yachty in May.

The 6 God posted on his Instagram Story to flex the shiny Concrete Boys pendant, which is Yachty’s label.

The heavy piece sports Concrete Boys written across the top and bottom while it also includes the label’s logo with a “C” built out of shiny bricks flanked by a construction worker and a demolition crane machine.
