Drake’s It’s All a Blur Tour has officially started, and while the 6 God’s first night in Chicago was filled with many memorable moments, fans couldn’t stop talking about one in particular.
Roughly halfway through his opening show at the United Center on Wednesday night (July 5), giant, holographic sperm cells could be seen floating above the stage and swirling around Drake as he performed his 2016 Views song “Child’s Play.”

There was no context given for the bizarre biological lights show, but it certainly caught fans’ attention on social media.
“All this talk about black women’s respectability policies and Drake in here with a damn floating sperm,” one person wrote on Twitter.

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time that Drake and sperm have made headlines together.
Last year, a rumor circulated suggesting the Toronto star spikes his condoms with hot sauce before having sex after a purported Instagram model claimed he seasoned the prophylactic with spice to kill his sperm.
In an interview with Too Much Hot Tea, the woman claimed Drake went into the bathroom to dispose of the condom after they had intercourse, and soon after she tried to retrieve it to impregnate herself with his sperm.

She then said that she felt a burning sensation and screamed, only to find out there was hot sauce in the condom. While it’s unclear if there was any validity to her story, it did spawn a funny meme from Snoop Dogg, who posted an image on Instagram showing Drake on a Trojan condom box holding a bottle of hot sauce.
Another notable moment during Drake’s Chicago show was the giant Virgil Abloh statue he unveiled to honor the late Louis Vuitton designer, who died aged 41 in November 2022 after losing his battle to cancer.

“Please make some noise for one of the most important people I’ve met in this industry,” Drizzy told the cheering crowd. “Make some noise for one of the greatest minds that we’ve ever seen. Our brother, our family, he goes by the name of Virgil Abloh. Let’s pay some respect.”
In a post of the statue on his Instagram Story, the 6 God added: “Our brother is watching.”
The statue was based on what has become an iconic photo of Virgil Abloh tossing a kite down the runway at a Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week in 2018.
Elsewhere during his show, The Boy ran through plenty of nostalgic hits including “Over” and “Headlines,” as well as more recent cuts like “Way 2 Sexy” and “Sticky.” Co-headliner 21 Savage also performed 12 of his own tracks before the Her Loss duo took the stage together to close out the show.

Drake also dropped another hint about his forthcoming album, For All the Dogs, which he teased alongside his new poetry book Titles Ruin Everything that he dropped in June.
“I look around at all these faces. I know it’s summertime, I gotta give you shit!” he called out to the crowd. “I don’t know about these guys that go away for three, four, five years and wanna chill out and all that shit. That’s not me.”

“With that being said, I got an album coming out soon for y’all. It’s called For All the Dogs. I always hear people talking about, ‘Damn, we miss that old Drake.’”
He continued: “I understand what you mean. You need more music so that you can, you know, feel good about your new lover, shit on your exes, get fly, get drunk, show love to your family, show love to your friends.”
Drake and 21 will return with another show at Chicago’s United Center on Thursday (July 6).
