Lil Wayne addressed Young Thug’s Barter 6 (formerly known as Carter 6) album at a Release Partiez tour stop in Columbus, OH.
In between songs at Xclusive Nightclub, Wayne spoke to the crowd, “If there were any other albums that dropped recently, tell ‘em I said, ‘suck my dick.”
Although he doesn’t mention names, Wayne seems to be alluding to Young Thug’s Friday release, Barter 6.
“Carter V coming soon; ain’t no motherf–kin’ such thing as Carter 6,” Wayne continues, as the sound of a single gun shot blasts through the speaker. “And anytime ya’ll book them bitch ass niggas to come up in this motherfucka, before they say one word, tell them, ‘Tunechi said, “Suck my dick.”‘”
Wayne continues the show after his message for Thugger.
Both artists, who affiliated with Birdman, have sparred with one another via social media and at shows for the last few weeks.
Previously, Wayne shared his thoughts on Thug continuing Tha Carter series of albums he began in 2004, at his “Release Partiez” tour stop in Jackson, Mississippi.
“Y’all let him know I said, ‘Fuck ‘em,’” Wayne said at that show. “Stop listening to songs of niggas who pose naked on their motherfucking album covers.”

I don’t get why some rappers get mad when it’s time to pass the torch. Rakim hates the fuck out Nas for replacing him, yet Nas just gave J Cole the cosign and praise (even though he’s no where near Nas level. lol) Why can’t Lil Wayne be like Nas and just embrace Thug?
