Lil Pump Dropped From Upcoming Festival For Failing To Comply With Visa Regulations

Lil Pump’s recent legal issues will force him to miss out on a string of shows in Australia. Organizers for the 2019 FOMO Festival have announced Pump will miss their upcoming events since he cannot obtained a work visa.

“Due to recent arrests and a failure to comply with Australian work visa application requirements, we regret to announce that Lil Pump is not able to perform at FOMO 2019,” the festival announced in a statement released on social media.

Pump has been replaced by Aminé, who is now scheduled to perform at five of the six festival dates. The 2019 FOMO Festival kicks off on January 5 in Brisbane and features performers such as Nicki Minaj and Rae Sremmurd.

Earlier this month, Pump was detained by police in Denmark and spent roughly 24 hours in jail. He was ordered to pay a fine for marijuana possession and asked to leave the country. Due to his arrest, Pump had to cancel a planned tour date in Finland.

A week later, Pump was kicked off a flight and arrested for disorderly conduct in Miami. He and his entourage were accused of bringing drugs on a plane, which led to an argument with police. A search ultimately came up empty, but Pump and his manager were charged with disorderly conduct. Both men pleaded not guilty.

In addition to his legal woes, Pump faced backlash this week for his use of an Asian slur. The polarizing rapper posted a snippet of a song called “Butterfly Doors” in which he raps, “They call me Yao Ming ’cause my eye real low, ching chong.” The accompanying video also showed him doing the slanted-eye gesture.

      1. Sadly these moronic, talentless crackheads are what is in for the industry, so this walking dickstain makes $$$ for them.

    1. We are seriously getting this PC noe over the asian eye shit? Thats been a rap line about bein stoned since rapping began

    2. This idiot’s music is the soundtrack for white kids who say “turn up” and steal pills from their grandparents medicine cabinets.

    3. We gotta start ignoring this guy and these articles. I can’t stand his music but for some reason when I see an article on him I’m like “let’s see what this idiot got up to today.” And that’s essentially why a lot of kids act so goofy these days. It gets them attention. He’s not really being given a reason to stop being a clown. There’s no attention given to these hard-working kids who keep their heads down and grind to make music with an actual point to it. I should shut the fuck up though as I pressed on this article and the proceeded to give it attention.

Anyways everyone go listen to Black Thought & Salaam Remi’s new album.
