Lil Baby is being accused of inflating the revenue he says he earned from the sales of his new weed strain, WHAM.

On Tuesday (January 14), the superstar rapper’s brand The Holding Company shared a graphic claiming that it brought in $30.4 million from over 327,000 orders since the line launched at the top of the year.

When re-posted by Akademiks, fans in the comments were quick to dispute the claim.

“This isn’t a real Shopify screenshot lol. Font is incorrect,” one person wrote. Someone else said: ” “You Can’t Sell US Bullshit…We know the prices…….30Million divided by 2000 per lb (and tht if it’s Top Shelf) tht means he sold 15,000 lbs in 15 days……yeaa AIGHHHHT.”

Another person added: “If you’re gonna lie at least make it believable. Shit don’t even make sense.”

Whether or not his new cannabis line is doing as well as alleged, Lil Baby’s music certainly is.

His new album WHAM debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for the week ending January 18, ahead of Bad Bunny, SZA, Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter.

When making the announcement that both albums would come in 2025 while appearing on on Lil Yachty‘s A Safe Place podcast in December, Baby explained how they would differ.

“I still put some of the songs I was gonna use for Dominique on WHAM ’cause I know my fanbase really want to hear them certain songs. WHAM is more me on some young n-gga shit — fast cars, girls, jewelry, money. You know, the turnt lifestyle.

“And Dominique is more the serious me, more personal. That’s a part of the new journey I’m on. I hate the word vulnerable, but I’m gonna be more open to my fans and my audience.”
