Latto became a trending topic on Twitter on Monday evening (November 21) after her vault of unreleased music suffered a hefty leak.
A reported 130 songs from the Atlanta rapper surfaced online, including previously unheard collaborations with other artists and reference tracks for some of her female rap counterparts.

One of the most prominent leaks was Latto’s demo of “Blick Blick,” which was released earlier this year as a Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj song. The reference track finds Latto rapping the song’s hook before spitting lyrics that appeared in both Coi’s and Nicki’s verses.
It’s unclear whether “Blick Blick” was originally supposed to feature Latto or she simply recorded it as a reference for Coi Leray. Also unclear is whether Latto was involved in writing the lyrics considering she has previously confessed to using a ghostwriter.

“I heard a few of ur refs before they came out too boo,” she wrote during her Twitter spat with Nicki Minaj in October. “U forget WE ALL collab w the same w the same writers??” Difference is I don’t deny it. The world seen me writing since 16 on national TV tho.”
Latto also claimed during the heated back-and-forth that Nicki repeatedly curved her requests for a feature and “shaded” her in subliminal tweets.
Also included in the batch of leaks was Latto’s version of BIA’s 2021 hit “Whole Lotta Money,” which later received a remix featuring Nicki Minaj. While some of Latto’s lyrics provided the basic skeleton of the hook, BIA later explained that the 777 hitmaker didn’t have a hand in writing the song.
“No London jae wrote the hook, I wrote the pre and verse it’s not rocket science,” she explained on Twitter in response to a fan who struggled to wrap their head around the leak.
In addition to “Whole Lotta Money,” London Joe is credited as a songwriter on several Latto songs including “Big Energy,” “Pull Up” and “Soufside.”
Elsewhere, an alternate version of Latto’s “Sex Lies” surfaced, featuring guest vocals from Tory Lanez instead of Lil Baby. The collaboration raised questions about Latto’s loyalty to Megan Thee Stallion considering Tory allegedly shot Megan in the feet at a party in July 2020.
“lmao latto recorded a whole song with Tory after the Meg incident??? wait this is interesting,” one fan tweeted, while another wrote: “LMFAOOOOO NOT LATTO GOT A COLLAB WITH TORY!!! i wonder if megan gonna tweet ‘weird’ and go on another stand with black women rant.”

However, multiple Twitter users pointed out that song’s file name appears to be dated May 2020, suggesting the song was recorded months before the alleged shooting.
Latto was seemingly unruffled by the flurry of leaks, though, as she subtly addressed the drama on Twitter. “Trending [kiss emoji],” she wrote next to a series of photos of her flaunting the dress that she wore to the 2022 American Music Awards over the weekend.
