Kodak Black Announces YouTube Series “City Of War”

Kodak Black is getting involved in the web series game. The Florida-native is executive producing an upcoming show with YouTube that will take place in his hometown.

The “ZEZE” rapper dropped a trailer for the upcoming series on his Instagram, Saturday (May 4), telling fans, “tune into my new show ‘CITY OF WAR’!! Releasing on my youtube channel June 2019 Summer 2019 We Going Up.”

Created by Richwood Florexil and Vincent Escobar, City Of War, follows the lives of rival drug dealers in South Florida and the police involved in stopping them.

Despite his clear excitement for the series, Kodak has been in hot water as of late drawing criticism for his comments on Lauren London, unwanted advances on Young M.A and beef with T.I.

New episodes of the upcoming web series will air every Tuesday, at 7 p.m. EST, following the series opener.
