Kid Cudi has revealed his back tattoo for the first time — without even taking his shirt off.

On Friday (June 9), Mr. Solo Dolo took to social media to give fans a glimpse of a miniature figurine of himself. The topless model depicts Cudi singing into a microphone, but what stood out most is the massive tattoo on its back that he claims is in fact real.

If the design looks familiar, it’s the same Moon Man cartoon that was used for Cudi’s Man on the Moon trilogy box set that was released last year. Created by New York-based artist and sculptor KAWS, it was used as the cover art for the six-LP package.

Regarding the tattoo, the Cleveland, Ohio native said: “yes that is my real back tattoo.  Ive had it for months now.  This is a first lil peek at it.”

Kid Cudi intends on expanding the sample figurine into a series that features him in different poses and outfits. The attention to detail in the shared images is truly remarkable and the replica could’ve easily passed off as the real-life Cudi were it not placed on a kitchen counter.

“This is a 1 of 1 test of some figurines im doing. Got a bunch of other poses, different fits. I was so blown away when I first saw this, the detail, is unmatched. Truly mind blowing,” he wrote in his tweet.

Fans were also highly impressed by the figurine’s uncanny resemblance. One Twitter user replied: “lmfao I thought that was the real you that’s cool af,” while another exclaimed: “Yoooo! That’s wild! So realistic lmao!”

As for the regular-sized cat in front of the tiny, life-like figurine, which certainly helped put things in perspective, another user responded: “I thought you had a cheetah or sum in your household for a sec.”

This isn’t the first time a Hip Hop artist has been replicated in the form of a doll. Travis Scott, MF DOOM, Playboi Carti, Nas, J Dilla and Ghostface Killah (to name a few) have all had their own mini-me’s.

As far as music goes, the Lonely Stoner recently returned with “Porsche Topless,” the first single from his upcoming ninth — and possibly final — album Insano.

“I’ve never made a project this powerful before in my life. Sitting, listening to these mixes, I just know that this shit is going to move you,” Cudi said of the album on Instagram Live earlier this year. “Y’all are going to fuck with this shit in such a major way and I’m so fucking excited.

He added: “I just wanted to get on here and just let y’all know that I’m not gonna let y’all down. This is gonna be the album of the year right now, I’m not playing. This is not a fucking joke. Tell everybody you fucking know, ok?”
