Khia Calls Out Beyoncé’s ‘Tired Ass’ ‘Renaissance’ Album For Putting A ‘Spell On Everybody’

Khia has been heavily criticizing Beyoncé following the recent release of her new album Renaissance.

In a video doing the rounds online, the “My Neck, My Back” rapper blasts Bey’s latest body of work and claimed the former Destiny’s Child singer is trying to put a spell on everyone with the album.

“Is this bitch is trying to put a spell on everybody in the world, including the children, with this tired ass album?” Khia says at the start of the clip. “We’ve been on lockdown for three damn years and this all you could come up with.”

Khia’s voodoo-filled rant — which hears her refer to Renaissance as a “flop” — also includes her calling Bey out for “stealing” a Kilo Ali sample, referring to the track “America Has A Problem,” which samples the Atlanta rap pioneer’s 1990 track “Cocaine (America Has A Problem).”

The accusations regarding samples didn’t stop there. Khia also criticized Beyoncé for “stealing” Kelis’ “Milkshake” sample for use on the track “Energy” featuring Beam.

Addressing the issue last week, Kelis vocalized how frustrated she was by not being informed it was even being used on the track. Taking to Instagram, the 42-year-old referred to it as “theft.”

“My mind is blown too because the level of disrespect and utter ignorance of all 3 parties involved is astounding,” she wrote from her Bounty and Full account. “I heard about this the same way everyone else did. Nothing is ever as it seems, some of the people in this business have no soul or integrity and they have everyone fooled.”

Beyoncé To Remove ‘Ableist’ Lyric From 'Renaissance' Album After Social Media Backlash

Since its removal, Kelis spoke out by replying to several comments from Beyoncé fans found in her Instagram comments.

When called a “cry baby” and asked if she was happy about the situation being resolved, Kelis wrote: “Yes I am actually. Lol nobody cried!”

She also responded to another fan claiming that Beyoncé didn’t need promotion from her. “I mean if this is promotion then that speaks to the quality of the demographic,” she wrote. “And she needs no promo from me, she has Satan lol.”

Beyoncé is yet to make a public statement in response to the Kelis controversy.

In other Renaissance news, Beyoncé has removed a lyric from the album after it was called out for being “ableist.”

Twitter was up in arms over the song “Heated” in which Beyoncé sings: “Spazzin’ on that ass, spazz on that ass.” The word “spastic” is often used in the medical field to describe a disability that makes it challenging for people to control their muscles, especially in their arms and legs.

As confirmed by Variety, the lyric will now be removed from all digital versions of the album. “The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced,” Beyoncé’s team said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Bey released a new Renaissance remix EP on Wednesday (August 2), which contains four alternate versions of her house-influenced “BREAK MY SOUL” from will.i.am, Honey Dijon, Terry Hunter and Nita Aviance.

Renaissance looks set to debut on top of the Billboard 200 chart this week. The famed singer’s seventh studio effort is projected to bring in an estimated 275,000 to 315,000 total album-equivalent units.

The figure would not only be good enough for Beyoncé to supplant Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti at No. 1, but it would also mark her seventh consecutive solo album to debut at the top of the chart.

    1. Man I don’t listen to Beyonce, but she has brung some dope music throughout her career, and has seen un-paralleled success compared to any of the other Destiny’s Child members. With that being said, haters are coming out of the wood works for her now. I don’t even listen to her but dang she is getting a lot of hate!! That means, keep doing what your’e doing, Bey

    2. Nobody remembers who this chick was. Oh that’s right, she had one song. “My Neck,My Back” that was it. I don’t think someone who literally had only one hit song and 15 minutes of fame can comment on anybody. That’d be like Trinidad James critique the bars of Rakim and Nas. Don’t have enough experience or skill level to even evaluate or speak on it.

      1. So who would you rather have critique her trash album, what level of success should you have to speak on Beyonce lol, oh thats right, nobody

        1. Your argument made no sense whatsoever. It’s not the quality of this album I’m even talking about. I’m talking about Khia in general. She has no right to make an critique when she doesn’t have the catalog. Have someone like Mary J Blige, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Anita Baker, or Sade critique it since they’re singer who have a deep enough catalog and have been in the business long enough to be able to provide an unbiased opinion based on what they think not out of bitterness or bias (being paid to) give it a favorable review. That’s all I’m saying. Pretty Simple and Fair.

      2. Bro Khia is a billion times closer to Beyoncé than you are to Khia.
So going by your standards you shouldn’t be posting on this at all.

        1. No she’s not because I’m not a racist tone-deaf ignorant rapper who is bitter that their career was shorter than Tory Lane’s legs. She’ll literally do anything for attention and her opinions hold no weight at all.

      1. No it’s not, my grandma would raise up from her grave and probably bony hand bitch slap me if I ever tried to play this in front of her tombstone.

    3. beyonce carries on as if she painted the mona lisa. at the same time trying to sell her music. a bit sad actually.

    4. Go do somethin’ wit yourself besides hatin’, Khia. Go write a book or take up golf. You’re not even a blip on this rich broad’s radar

    5. She doesnt even write 10% of her own lyrics and shes got 38 people working on her music such an original artist…. Simp idiots. Ill never listen to one single beyonce song in MY LIFE music for morbidly obese losers and fraggots.

    6. All this crap is stupid and messy and drama queens and the culture is trash now. Give me back the 80s and 90s cause this whole era of music and the gossip with it is straight bull..

    7. Only dumbfucks don’t know bet and Jay-Z are demonic devil worshippers they wouldn’t be where they are in the industry if they wasn’t and unless you’re a dumbfuck sheep the signs are obvious.bey album cover even represent the 4 horseman of the apocalypse she got different pics with all 4 colors

      1. Ps: Also I feel if it goes on like this with all the “wokeness” and cutting words because like 1 person might get them wrong, all older hip hop albums will soon be edited to death or banned from streaming services….

    8. Who is Khia? She’s 45 & don’t have anything but 1 song. Kelis didn’t write or produce Milkshake. Beyoncé don’t even respond to them.
