Kendrick Lamar Records “Ronald Reagan Era” Featuring RZA

Kendrick Lamar is getting a hefty co-sign. The Compton, California up-and-comer was recently in the studio working on the soulful cut “Ronald Reagan Era” featuring a verse from RZA, with plans for the collaboration to end up on his third studio album Section.80.

While the West Coast rapper laid down the track in the studio, TopDawgMusic.com managed to sneak in and record some footage, showing Kendrick instructing another performer in the booth to come in after the RZArector dropped his verse. The soulful banger can be heard throughout the clip, which ends after he realizes the session is being filmed.

In anticipation of his upcoming LP, Kendrick has already unleashed album single “Hiiiii Power” produced by J. Cole. He most recently put in studio work with Dr. Dre for the mythical Detox. Section.80 is expected to drop later this year.
