In a video from the show that only began circulating on Thursday (October 3), Kanye can be heard showing love to Drake for his assistance in the studio while performing his 2018 ye cut āYikes.ā

Kanyeās unexpected shoutout comes shortly after a video of Drake recording his reference track for āYikesā emerged as part of the Toronto rapperās 100 Gigs content dump.
Although Drizzy was credited as a songwriter, the track ā and the rest of ye ā arrived at the height of his beef with Kanyeās close collaborator and then-G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Pusha T.

Yeezy himself was dragged into the back-and-forth, with Drake taking shots at him on āDuppy Freestyleā and creating a faux $100,000 invoice for āpromotional assistance and career revivingā addressed to G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam.

The shoutout also comes just weeks after Kanye dedicated a performance of āI Wonderā to Drake during his and Ty Dolla $ignās concert in South Korea in August.

The friendly gestures are a sharp 180 from earlier this year when Ye dissed his āForeverā collaborator, as well as J. Cole, on a remix of Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamarās āLike That.ā
