Kanye West and soon-to-be ex Kim Kardashian took their relationship grievances to social media this week. On Friday (February 4), Kanye accused the SKIMS founder of putting his daughter North West on TikTok against his wishes, prompting Kardashian to publicly berate him for the “constant attacks.”
As media went wild with coverage, TMZ ran a story with the headline, “Kanye West Shades Kim Kardashian Over North West On TikTok.” And now, Ye wants an apology. Taking to Instagram, the billionaire mogul shared a screenshot of the story with a corrected headline from the Twitter account Correcting Ye Headlines and accused the outlet of siding with his estranged wife.
He wrote in the caption, “TMZ MY CHILDREN ARE NOT A GAME TO ME I NEED AN APOLOGY FOR HOW YOU TRIED TO SPIN THE NARRATIVE YOU ARE NOT BEING A FAIR MEDIA SOURCE YOU’RE PICKING SIDES AGAINST THE DAD.”
The contentious exchange between the former couple started when Kim Kardashian shared a TikTok video starring North. Kanye uploaded a screenshot of their daughter to his Instagram account and wrote, “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?”
Kardashian ultimately fired back on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create. As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.”

She continued, “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all. From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.
“I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
The “main provider” comment evidently upset Kanye and he replied again via Instagram, “What do you mean by main provider ? America saw you try to kid nap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way.”

a person’s mental health and their illusions of control are a MAJOR issue in and of itself and I think this divorce is going to be very difficult for Ye, especially as it truly seems Mom/Kim is done with him. being the narcissist he is, Ye will make every issue public, messy, and a little dopey, all of which will only hurt himself (and the longterm relationship he has with his kids).
