Kanye West has apologized for his anti-Semitic remarks in a new interview with Piers Morgan as part of his controversial media tour this week.
Ye was initially apprehensive about apologizing but he eventually reached a point in the interview where he took responsibility for his comments and showed remorse to those he hurt. Yeezy said he made the “Death Con 3” comments knowing they were racist and admitted that “hurt people, hurt people.”
“I will say I’m sorry for the people that I hurt with the Death Con,” he said. “I feel like I caused hurt and confusion and I’m sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I’d been through. And I used my platform where you say, ‘Hurt people, hurt people.’ And I was hurt.
“I wanna say that it’s wrong to hold an apology hostage and I gotta let go of that and free myself of the trauma and say, ‘Look, I’m just gonna give it all up to God right now. And say to those families that are hurt I really wanna give you guys a big hug and I say I’m sorry for hurting you with my comments.”
Ye continued: “And I want to word it not in a political way, but a presidential way, which means what I knew to be a president when I was growing up.”
Look for the rest of the two-hour Kanye West interview with Piers Morgan to arrive on Friday (October 21).
In other Kanye West news, his divorce from Kim Kardashian has entered its final stages, more than a year after the SKIMS mogul first filed the paperwork.
In documents obtained by The Blast, Ye’s lawyer has reportedly filed a “declaration of disclosure,” turning over all his financial documents to his estranged wife’s legal team.
He’s also reportedly reached an agreement on how to divide finances and property. According to The Blast, “in cases of this kind, the disclosure is filed within days or weeks of the final judgment and settlement being filed.”
Meanwhile, Dame Dash has admitted he’s worried about Kanye West’s wellbeing following his recent outbursts.
During a recent trip to London, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder — who signed Ye to the label in 2002 — appeared on Kick Game‘s sneaker shopping series and was asked about his current thoughts on Kanye.
Hate and blame is not a solution. We can only fight the world’s evils with love, otherwise we become the evil we sought to destroy. We need to stop listening to people in power who try to tell us that our problems are caused by other groups of people. They are planting a seed of resentment that will grow into hate. Hate kills you from the inside out, it’s a cancer. People are generally good, don’t let the news fool you.
Heres the thing I never understood about anti-semitisim: They are mostly white. Whiter than me. I never understood the point of calling a religion a race. Especially in America where half of them dont even wear the hats. Everyone is afraid of talking about them because they got money and invest in everything. I notice on this site you cant even use the “J” word even to say something positive about them. It will get deleted.
It’s more of a stereotype that all of them have money, or control media. They originate from Israelites and Hebrews. Which would make them a race. Also, half aren’t orthodox in their religion.
new year, hell is in a treetop, complete with a bbl kiosk, feminist banged the gale, call judge a peon, my downfall my plug Is senile, is it laced or did he give me what I thought I wanted, or am in a dark place or is this the door to let some sun in, trip it’s 69 gummy worms like a DNA splice, they getting more than me it ain’t right
Lol he didn’t really apologize. He just said sorry for “the confusion”.
Just watch the video, Kanye handed Piers his ass back to him with some savage comebacks
Izzy, Kanye thinks he is better than everyone and that most people are peons………including you.Anyone in his life who doesn’t tow the line will get that treatment. Evidently many judges people’s value on how much money they have.If he keeps on talking reckless like this, his customers might come to the realization …….that holy shit this guy thinks I am not worth anything…… Kanye is such a great Christian.
I forgot to mention this….how does a rappers comments “hurt” anyone ? Obviously the comments didnt hurt anyone physically. Before you say the comments hurt people mentally, I challenge you to explain how hearing someone you will NEVER meet in person affects you ? Kanye speaks on an interview and people act like if he is their neighbor, teacher, doctor, or anyone else who’s beliefs ACTUALLY make a difference in their lives. I guarentee NOBODY was actually “hurt” by Kanye’s comments. Its just condemning these types of comments are becoming the “in” thing to do. Youre not cool if you dont follow the Shepard like a bunch of sheep. The cool thing to do in 2022 is to be “offended” on someone elses behalf. Meanwhile, the people who have a legitimate claim to be offended are laughing all the way to the bank.
Man STFU! Condemning those who make public negative remarks about groups of people has been “the cool thing to do” since the 60s.
In his interview with p.Morgan, west commented on the fact that Kanye is worth more money than p.morgan …..I have noticed that west has done this multiple times in the past, commenting on his wealth compared to others. It appears that he believes this makes him better and smarter than other pepole. Kanye is richer than basically everyone on earth. It appears that he believes that EVERYONE is beneath him……..Even the people who take their guard earned money and spend it on his products…..don’t believe me,keep reading his interviews and he will tell you out of his own mouth.
“Don’t ever fix yo’ lips like collagen
And then say something where you gonna end up apologizing” _ STUPID BITCH!
I believe he worded it Apologying*
apologin, look up it!
Kanye is batshit and the things he says are beyond wild. That being said, I LOVE that he keeps doing it – no matter how much I disagree with pretty much everything that comes out of his mouth – just because it makes these oversensitive PC fruitcakes so mad lol.
If what he’s saying is batshit, are people really being overly sensitive? It feels like if the former is true the latter can’t be.
you love it because he’s a high profile moron, and it makes small time morons feel seen
Too late Kanye. You repeatedly say hurtful things and expect an apology to fix it now? Not this time buddy! People will only remember the pain and hurt from your horrific comments. They won’t remember this apology.
I think ye was saying what he felt an should stand by it cause it ain’t poplar or politically correct that’s what’s wrong with things today. Say what you want an if it offends people so what they’ll get over it or bah ha
If he had said he’s going Defcon 3 on white people it would have been ok. If he had suggested that white people were controlling black people’s contracts and screwing them over, it would have been ok. His actual comments were every bit as accurate as these hypothetical statements, if not moreso, so why is one ok and the other isn’t?
Can’t wait till this guy has a full meltdown.
A la verga con Kanye!
