Julio Foolio has been accused of committing to an interview and not showing up despite taking the payment for it.
On Saturday (July 15), a Boston-based media outlet called hiphopmunchies shared text messages with the 25-year-old rapper. The exchange suggests that he took $125 from them but never followed through on his promise to record a chat in Florida.

The bloggers posted a screenshot of Foolio’s story where he shouted them out, which they captioned: “Shouting us out on IG about a interview you never showed up for is crazy #juliofoolio [facepalm emoji] aint no way your Networth over a million & you petty scammed us outta $125 [three crying emojis] you could’ve just asked for a donation.”
They subsequently shared messages in which they arranged a meeting, sent him money via Cash App and were then ghosted by him when it was time to shoot.
A few months back, Julio Foolio announced that he’d been removed from house arrest and celebrated the momentous occasion with his fans.
In late March, he took to social media to announce the news of his retrieved freedom. The rapper was placed on house arrest after he failed to pull over during a traffic stop that was initiated due to a suspected tint violation, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
In the post, the “List of Dead Opps” spitter expressed his excitement over getting the chance to work on his music again.
“Today marks the day finally off house arrest/probation been holding my career finally back on that round no restrictions no more probation promoters Dm me,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.

Julio Foolio had a controversial come up in the game. He originally made a name for himself by name-dropping dead enemies in his music, a frowned-upon tactic that he later admitted was “childish.”
He recently posted to his Instagram that he was working on a mixtape that was “finally done” and asked his followers which song he should release.
