Juice WRLD Sued For Allegedly Jacking 16-Year-Old Producer

Juice WRLD just finished dealing with Sting suing him over the burgeoning rapper’s Billboard hit “Lucid Dreams,” which samples Sting’s 1993 chart-topper “Shape Of My Heart.” Now Juice is facing more legal trouble over another song.

16-year-old beatmaker Jerome Willisch out of Colorado has filed a lawsuit through his guardians against Juice WRLD for allegedly lifting his song “Ice” as the basis for “Lean Wit Me,” which lives on Juice’s 2018 album Goodbye & Good Riddance, TMZ reports.

According to court docs, the up-and-coming producer, who goes by the moniker Fly Jxy, believes his song “Ice” is “the essential beat and foundation” for “Lean Wit Me.”

The visual for “Lean Wit Me” was uploaded to YouTube back in August and currently sits at over 36 million views.

Fly Jxy has named Juice WRLD, Internet Money producer Nick Mira (who also produced “Lucid Dreams”), Interscope Records and Universal Music Group in the lawsuit. He is seeking unspecified damages and has requested the judge to yank “Lean Wit Me” off all digital service platforms.

    1. The kid had just uploaded the song and said juice stole it for publicity. Fly jxy doesn’t even own the rights whatsoever to the beat considering it was produced by dee b. The beat was also a juice wrld type beat. Song fly made was trash was anyway. Get em outta here (oh p.s. lean wit me came out before that)

    2. (Leanwitme) your right fly jxy hasn’t published his song therefore he doesn’t own the rights. And only the beat is the same therefore juice shouldn’t be sued! P.S fly’s song sucks!!!

    3. What’s really crazy is that the guitar in the background is taken from METALLICA lol so they will next in line to sue.

      1. the song is called ONE by: METALLICA
PRODUCERS lately have been biting all these old songs and just tweaking them a tad bit to “make it their own”. But in reality no permission means no clearance and no clearance mean LAWSUIT and you all have seen the damage that juice got from sting 85% of EVERY SINGLE penny earned off that lucid dream song.

    4. Lol yeah… Not even close. People just need to leave Juice alone. He’s such a rare breed who makes really good original music and everyone is thirsty for his clout. Its annoying.
