Joey Bada$$ and DJ Premier have released studio footage of them recording their new single “Unorthodox.”
The pair met up at Primo’s HeadQCourterz Studio in New York City, New York where they discussed everything from their influences to mutual respect.
The track honors Joey’s signing a single deal with Green Label Sound back in October. “Unorthodox” will be available for free download on GreenLabelSound.com on January 14th, the week of Joey’s 18th birthday.
“I’m really excited to be working with Green Label Sound on this track,” said the Pro Era member. “It’s gonna be dope and I get to work with someone I consider an icon.”
