Jermaine Dupri has endorsed Kamala Harris, and has responded to fans who claimed she’s “not Black.”
The rapper and producer shared a video on Thursday (August 22), during which he endorsed the current vice president.
Dupri began by responding to a commenter who said she was not Black. He said: “She’s a person of color, alright. So let’s just say that. People of color, to get in the position that she’s in now is not no easy feat, and it’s not something that America thought they’d ever fucking see. Y’all ain’t gotta say she’s Black. She’s a person of color. Brown, tan, whatever the fuck y’all wanna call it that saying she’s not Black, whatever that is, she’s a person of color.
“And you know, like I know, you motherfuckers ain’t never thought that you’d see nobody — person of color, woman — in a position to become the President of the United States. The hate she has to deal with being a person of color, y’all want her also to be a vice president, to do shit that vice presidents ain’t never, ever did. Y’all fucking tripping.”
Dupri went on to add that he didn’t think Harris should be elected because she’s a person of color, but because she’s the best candidate.

Dupri isn’t the only Hip Hop figure to have thrown his support behind Vice President Harris.
Earlier this week, Common and Lil Jon both hit the stage at the Democratic National Convention to support presidential candidate Kamala Harris, delivering very different performances in the process.
Chicago’s United Center played host to the four day political event. On the second day, hometown hero Common came out and performed “Fortunate,” from his recent joint album with Pete Rock.
Joined by gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds, the Windy City lyricist made a slight tweak to his lyrics by rapping: “We fortunate, y’all, for Kamala Harris,” much to the delight of the crowd.
Bringing a very different vibe to the night, Lil Jon performed his rowdy 2013 hit “Turn Down for What” to briefly turn the convention into a wild party as he represented his home state of Georgia’s delegates.
At the end of July, Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion threw their support behind Kamala Harris by appearing alongside the presidential nominee at a campaign rally in Atlanta.
In her first trip to the city and the state of Georgia since beginning her election campaign, Harris brought out the A-list rap stars in front of an estimated crowd of 10,000 supporters.
Megan Thee Stallion was the first special guest of the evening, taking the stage in a cropped Democrat blue suit before saying to the crowd: “Lets get this done, hotties. Hotties for Harris!”
She then performed a medley of hits including “Girls in the Hood,” “Mamushi,” “Body”, and “Savage,” complete with backup dancers and plenty of booty-shaking.
Atlanta’s own Quavo came out to give a speech in support of Harris and her position on gun violence.
He said: “One of the issues I care about is resolving the gun violence issue. You can’t understand the struggles of gun violence if you’re not in the field or in the heart of it. So one thing I learned about working with Vice President Harris is she always stands on business.
“From inviting me to the White House last year to discuss these solutions, to passing the biggest gun safety laws today. So it’s only right in the birthplace of the culture, it’s also the same place to launch the first African American woman to run for president. Yeah, we changing the culture again!”
If you dont vote for us, you aint black !
Her policies are terrible. She is an open border policy activist Biden picked the border czar. Kamala was a horrible attorney general and senator. No one liked her up until she was installed as a presidential nominee who didn’t receive one vote in the primary. If she didn’t sleep with Willie Brown we wouldn’t even know who she was. That’s how unremarkable and untalented Kamala Harris is.
She as a communist mindset. It never works. I don’t know what people are thinking. I don’t care about color or gender. I care about policy. Kamala goes wherever the wind takes her. And no she ain’t black, she’s Indian. In Jamaica her family is seen as Indian Jamaican.
That’s right, those artist are fixing to lose alot of money and fan’s. Because our children an disabled an elders are very important. An Harris is a terrorist that welcome all human trafficking and pedophiles into our country
Listen to these scared bitches on this page commenting on me. Communist policies where? But your hoe asses are cheering on a man who hates everybody but himself.
Keep telling yourself that, little guy

Lol imagine caring who Jermaine Dupri is voting for.
Ikr I could care less who he or common or any celebrity voting for her. My family will stop watching buying their music along with Jennifer Hudson! They can protect their children what if they didn’t have all that money.
I LOVE KAMALA!! I WANT ANOTHER 20 MILLION ILLEGALS TO ENTER THE USA, AS LONG AS THEY’RE UNDOCUMENTED AND WE HAVE NO CLUE WHO THEY ARE!! I WANT EVEN FURTHER INFLATION! I WANT MORE WARS THAT OUR COUNTRY FUNDS!! OH YEAH, MOST IMPORTANTLY IS THAT THE ORANGE MAN IS BAD 😡
It’s such a mind fuck that “person of color” is the woke, PC way to say it… but “colored person” was the former, allegedly very racist terminology. Can anyone here tell me how the fuck colored person or person of color are fucking different? Anyone who calls a black or brown person a “person of color” makes me shut em down instantly. Just shut the fuck up.
My massaz be black this time vote for my massa.. -black democrats who continuously get manipulated lol
