    Jay-Z Releases Lyrics To “BBC,” Featuring Nas, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell & Timbaland

    Jay-Z continues to tease out portions of the lyrics to his upcoming album, Magna Carta Holy Grail.

    Jay has shed some light on what has immediately become one of the album’s most anticipated tracks: “BBC,” featuring Nas, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Swizz Beatz, and Timbaland.

    Hov was photographed in the studio weeks ago with Timberlake, Nas, and Timbaland, working on what would now appear to be this track.

    Prior lyrics released include “Oceans,” featuring Frank Ocean, “Heaven,” and the Justin Timberlake-assisted “Holy Grail.” The album will consist of 15 tracks.

    Magna Carta Holy Grail will be released on July 4. It is the product of a collaboration with technology company Samsung, who will offer up to one million free copies of the album for users of its smartphones, three days before the album’s release.

    7. First of all, there is no way all them niggas will have prominent roles on that track. Jay and Nas def getting the bars portion while Timbaland and Swizz def on the boards. Pharell, Beyonce n JT prolly together on the hook

      Secondly, judging by the lyrics, my guess is the first rap verse is Nas and the 2nd is Jay’s. Who is with me?

      Thirdly, there wont be anything epic or classic about this track. It will prolly be a hot track considering the guys on the boards and an all floss lyrical display by Nas and Jay. Not a big deal.

      Lastly, IMO and if indeed Nas got the first rap verse, then its clearly killing the second Jay verse but ofcourse we gotto wait for the full bars and track to make proper judgement. Plus Nas already took advantage of his worst enemies tryna be his best friends and walked into the lions den and took everybody’s chips a couple of years ago.

I’m more of a Biggie fan but he died too soon and so did Tupac. All the other rappers that have had a career as long as Jay Z have not remained as relevant.       Who really gives a fuck what words he’s actually rhyming? If you do then go listen to Canibus or something. Music should be judged by the overall feel and concept of the song, the mood and the techniques he uses to express himself. People don’t look at a painting and say it’s wack because the painter should’ve used a different brush here and his color selection is off, people look at the overall work and critique the painting as whole. Is that really how yall listen to music critiquing what words he rhymed with what and which he should’ve rhymed instead?

      Like it or not Jay Z is the GOAT.
      If not him then who? If it’s not Jay Z, then who is the GOAT of Hip Hop? Who? I’ll wait.

      And just so you know your favorite rapper admires and respects Jay Z, you should too.

      Lastly, you don’t have to like his music, that’s your opinion, but you should respect and admire what the man has done. Whenever a young minority ex-drug dealer can go from the projects to where he is today we should all be happy and find it aspirational instead of trying to tear it down.

      And I thank God that we have someone like Jay Z to represent our culture because if not him then who? When Jay Z sits with the President of the United States or other world leaders or billionaires, etc. that’s Hip Hop, that’s our culture being represented, that’s us. And if it wasn’t him representing us then who would it be? No one, that’s why he’s a legend.

      So show some respect, go have a seat and sit quietly somewhere.
