Jay Electronica has revealed that SZA has him blocked on social media.
The Roc Nation rapper made the revelation on his new “Khalas” collaboration with Swizz Beatz, from the producer’s Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2 EP which dropped on Friday (April 21).
On the track, Jay Electronica addresses the reception to his A Written Testimony album before expressing confusion as to why “Solana” (which is SZA’s real name) blocked him on socials.
“I did an album with Hov, lames let all their hate vent/ So I fell back three years like, ‘Go ahead, be great then’/ I popped out with Flygod, I popped out on ‘Donda’/ I popped out with Russ, then Vic Mensa and then Ambré/ I popped up at Spades and I popped up at Vandals/ And my sister keep asking why I got blocked by Solana,” he raps.

While the pair have never had any public disputes in the past, Jay Electronica apparently asked SZA if she believed in God during a bizarre Twitter rant earlier this year.
He also posed the same question to Drake, Diddy and Questlove, among a slew of others, with the Bad Boy boss being the only one to respond.
“I believe in him beyond your comprehension,” Puff wrote back. “I give all glory to him. If my god ain’t in it, I don’t want it. LOVE.”
Jay Elec also took aim at astrology during the aforementioned rant, writing: “Motherfuckers will tell you mercury is in retrograde and don’t even have a telescope. Naw, I’m good. Salaam Alaikum.”
SZA has previously expressed a devout belief in astrology, and back in 2019 asked her astrologer Jaadee to publish her full chart on Twitter. However, it’s unclear if any of these issues were what caused SZA to block Jay Electronica on social media.
The elusive “Exhibit C” lyricist is just one of several high-profile names on Swizz Beatz’s new EP, which also features appearances from Nas, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, Lil Durk and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
The six-track project comes courtesy of Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack series and follows DJ Premier’s similarly stacked Hip Hop 50: Vol. 1 EP which dropped last year.
In other Jay Electronica news, the the 46-year-old revealed in December that he’s working on a joint album with Curren$y.
Spitta was hosting an Instagram Live with fans when Jay Elec popped up in the comments section to remind his fellow New Orleans native that their joint project still needs to be completed.
I swear to God the 5 Percent and the Nation Islam motherfuckers are giving such a bad look to the muslim community. These motherfuckers and their fucked up philosophies have nothing to do with Islam. It’s already hard enough to have to deal with these terrorists motherfuckers giving muslims such a bad reputation. Now we also have to deal with these African Americans and their inferiority complex. FOH!
Between the two, WORLDWIDE, the bigger issue is the terrorist shit TBH….
Jay Electronica homeless ass is looking for a new woman to take care of him and his car note. He’s also looking for a new place to squat for food and shelter since SZA doing good for herself these days.
Jay prolly sent her a dick pic titled God or something. He’s a weirdo for real.
