Jadakiss & Fabolous Deliver “Friday On Elm Street”

Jadakiss and Fabolous have finally delivered their Friday On Elm Street joint project, 23 days after Halloween (or 341 days before next Halloween, if you want to look at it that way).

The project, which originally started as Freddy vs. Jason, features the two New York rap vets, along with some help from French Montana, Styles P, Teyana Taylor and Swizz Beatz.

Yo Gotti and Jeezy add some additional star power to the remix of the already-released single, “Stand Up,” which also features Future.

Along with the tracklist, the duo has shared the cover art for the LP, which features a photograph of an eerie looking forest fire. Fab also shared a photo of the cover art on Instagram with the location noted as “Camp Crystal Lake,” the fictional lake from the Friday the 13th movies.

      1. Maaan u aint even heard the album yet pre-hater. Relaxxxxx. If u aint got nothing good say just chill and dont say nothing….

        1. pre-hater?? Ever heard of first impression? When you see a collab joint between two great Rappers you wanna hear them on the Tracks not other guys on 2/3 of the Tracks. Its more like a Compilation Album with Fab and Kiss most featured on now

    1. 2 former kings of New York on mumble trap tracks. Phatetic. It looks like east coast NYC rap is dead or on life support either way this collaboration could have been great in its early 2000s.

      1. Im hoping they keep the trap beats to a minimum (or none at all). I suspect itll probably be about 25% trap beats, which I dont like, but I can live with, and just remove them from my spotify.

    2. I’m more excited for this than the new Eminem “album”. Should be at least worth a listen. At least Kiss and Fab don’t have Beyonce the queen of trash on there.

    3. ?Hmmm… bout effn time. Same goes out to Cyhi. Damn. And what is with this new obsession about features? Must be trolling j cole fans bc I refuse to believe it’s a variable that would determine if one wants/needs to listen to an album. Just need something to complain about I guess. Eminem collaborated with Beyoncé!!!! Shoot, just be happy these artists were waiting on are finally dropping albums.

    4. the mofos in the comments cant be satisfied for shit! I am excited for this project. I know I am going to get bars from kiss and fab.

      1. “Skip the boom bap shit”? You do realize Jadakiss and Fab are 90’s/early 2000’s-era rappers FROM NY, right?

What this shit NEEDS is the “boom bap” shit, instead of catering to a bunch of young cats who aren’t even familiar with their catalogues and who won’t give a shit beyond the song featuring Future.

        1. dog,,,dont you see who it is,,,,jada and fabo……………thats real hip hop…no trap,no mumbles,,,,no gimmick,,,hiphop…just get future out of there

    5. Teyana and French are the hot campers having public sex in the tent like they got license. They die first. Styles is the emo kid who finds out real quick he didn’t actually want to die (but does). Swizz got it all figured out, he’s the genius of the group. Almost makes it, too… but all nerds die slow in these movies. Our protagonist, Future, gets Army Lt. Jezzy and Cpt. Gotti to mount an assault on the pair allowing Future to be the only survivor for the inevitable sequel. Hope it’s got bars.

    6. The first single “Stand Up” was pure doo-doo.. Allegedy the rest of the album won’t sound like that.. Let’s hope….

    7. Lol who cares? most likely another east coast trap album. if I want trap music I’ll get it from the source it came from. “New York’s been soft, ever since snoop came through and crushed the buildings”

      1. That quote coming from someone who stayed quiet as a church mouse during the east/west feud and later on has rapped over trap beats himself.

    8. Lol these 40 year old rappers think they serial killers now? Grow up! And features from Future, Jeezy and French Montana? Really? the most wack rappers in the industry. Eastcoast hiphop is dead they only copy traprappers.

    9. My thoughts exactly I was glad to see that they didn’t succumb to the temptation of making music that invades the radio 247 More great music like this is needed

      1. There’s still alot of good music out there, but it’s just not being recognized like that cause of all this mumble rap b/s they’re start 2 play now. Cyhi The Prynce just dropped a vicious ass LP, by of course ppl won’t give it the time of the day cause they’d rather listen 2 garbage ass artists like Cardi B.

    10. I’ll save y’all the trouble…shits forgettable at best and flooded with trap shit….NO THANKS…I don’t want to here fabolous sounding like meek mill/gotti to keep up with a one dimensional style of producing….these nigaz are practically legends with a first collab album and look who they decide to collaborate with….smh… AND YOU WONDER Y NIGZ DONT BUY ALBUMS ANYMORE!!!! Cause u so called rap nigz are lab rats…always trying something new that apparently DOES NOT WORK!!!! Stick to what you are good at and known for…..

That’s what ruined them paid in full nigaz, they was eating good in Harlem then here goes the lab rat alpo talking bout he wanna go to D.C…then everything went to shit!!!
