Jack Harlow Prompts Georgia Police Department To Address Viral Choking Video

Thanks to Jack Harlow, an officer involved in an altercation with a female concertgoer at one of his recent shows in Atlanta is now under investigation.

According to a statement from Cobb County police department obtained by TMZ on Thursday (December 30), the video Jack Harlow posted to his Instagram last Tuesday of a young black woman being grabbed by the throat by an officer has sparked a full internal review of the incident for officer misconduct.

“The Cobb County Police Department takes any and all allegations of officer misconduct very seriously,” a spokesperson for Cobb County PD said. “We are aware of the video snippet posted to Instagram involving our officer and a young woman outside the Coca-Cola Roxy. The incident is going through an internal review to get a full understanding of the entire incident before any potential action is taken.”

While the investigation signals some sort of progress, Jack Harlow initially called for the swift firing of the officer in the video in his post, expressing how important it was for him to support women, especially black women, as fiercely as they support him.

“I look out in the crowd every night and see black women in my front row,” Harlow wrote in part in the lengthy message. “Screaming my lyrics, traveling to see me, supporting me, riding for me. I want this woman, and every black woman that supports me to know – I am so sorry. I want you to be protected and I want this guy to lose his job so fucking fast.”

It’s almost no surprise that Jack Harlow is going so hard for this young woman considering how much he values the connection he has with his fans.

Back in November, he recognized one of his day-one fans during his Crème de la Crème Tour stop in Alabama and even brought him backstage for a photo-op and genuine link-up.

All of Jack Harlow’s good deeds haven’t gone unnoticed though.

On Tuesday (January 4), the “WHATS POPPPIN” rapper was awarded his own day in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky to commemorate his success in the music industry and philanthropy work in the city.

    1. So now if someone puts their hands an inch away from your face your not allowed to push them back ? Anybody who thinks this had anything to do with the color of her skin is an idiot. It wasnt even a choke it was a push. No the Undertaker didnt chokeslam this girl straight to hell like social media wants you to believe. Jack Harlow you are a moron and the stereotypical white token rapper.

      1. Bro grow up, You keep using that Undertaker bit over and over like it’s relevant. Putting hands on someone is Assault, getting in their face is not, there’s a difference and a Police Officer should have the self control to know the difference and de-escalate, take a step back and assess. You don’t wave a finger in her face and touch her inappropriately. You’re going to deal with people like this 3-4 times a shift as an LEO, if you can’t handle it without Assaulting someone you’re not fit to do your job.
