The full article, which is currently available online, finds Jack Harlow opening up about the ways in which his music has evolved, the way his interactions with women have shifted, and his complex relationship with the media.

“I don’t feel like I’m a darling in the journalism space,” Jack Harlow shares. “I feel like everyone in journalism is so sophisticated right now, or journalism is so sophisticated,” he said. “I’m not a niche artist. Harlow’s position on the list of 21 MOTY honorees comes towards the end of a year that has been full of career milestones, many sparked by the May release of his sophomore album Come Home The Kids Miss You.

The project, which spawned two viral hits with “First Class” and “Nail Tech,” also led to Jack Harlow’s first headlining arena tour, with the City Girls along for the ride as an opening act. Ahead of the tour, his appearances and wins at both the BET Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards both made waves, especially with Brandy joining him on stage following their short-lived beef.

He was nominated in a further four categories, including Artist of the Year, Best Choreography and the coveted Video of the Year.

He’s been keeping equally busy outside of music, after locking in his film debut in a forthcoming remake of White Men Can’t Jump alongside Vince Staples.

Earlier this week, it was also revealed that both Jack Harlow and J. Cole had been immortalized as playable characters on NBA 2k23. The two artists were made available to be used in MyTEAM mode’s Crossover series this week, but for a “limited time only.” Both Cole and Harlow were given solid 89 overall ratings in the game.
