Ja Rule Says Snoop Dogg Is Outta 50 Cent’s League

No less than 24 hours after 50 Cent suggested he would rather face Snoop Dogg than Ja Rule in an Instagram battle, Ja has responded.

Down in the comment section of Big Boy’s Instagram post regarding the battle, the “Always On Time” artist took a moment to reflect on 50’s response.

“He don’t want that pressure…” he wrote. “and Snoop our ya league bra!!!”

On Friday (May 1), 50 told Big Boy battling Ja wouldn’t make a lot of sense for him. In his eyes, his catalog would trump Ja’s.

“It would make more sense catalog wise, me and Snoop. Cause we could compete every step of the way,” 50 explained. “Ja Rule? He got like five, six good duets. The hit records are all him and Jennifer Lopez, him and Mary J. Blige, him and Ashanti. Him and … a woman, a female. All the records. He got one hit song by himself, ‘Holla Holla.’”

50 Cent Would Rather Instagram Battle Snoop Dogg Than Ja Rule

The two longtime enemies have been back-and-forth in regards to whether they’d square off in a Verzuz type battle, clowning one another on social media whenever the opportunity arose to do so.

Ja recently went on a since-deleted Twitter storm reminding fans that he went up against Eminem and others in 2004 and called 50 a “rat” when his initial request for a battle was denied.

    1. The title of this article is “Ja Rule Says 50 Cent Is Outta Snoop Dogg’s League” (in case they change it when they realize they made a mistake) which implies that Ja was saying 50 is better than Snoop. He actually said the opposite. He’s wrong, I’d listen to GRODT over any Snoop album any day, but the article misinterpreted what was actually said.

        1. I’m from the West coast and still choose GRODT over doggystyle. The bangers on Doggystyle are bangers, but only those, that 50 album is a great listen all the way through.

      1. Which is why EVERY Ja Rule article has the most comments on this site haha… When people truly don’t care about something, they ignore it. Like a new Lil Wayne song will get one comment, not 35

    2. Dude jus trying to be notice again ja ain’t sht.. sorry but I’m west cost dude anyway and I still think fif better then him he did change the game when he came out.. not ja..

    3. Jay z Eminem! Make it worth the watch and listen! N it will yield endless hits! That’s the point! Arguing over egos? Not worth the discussion! For music lovers we want that!! Jarule 50? Y’all both Funny! Simply because 50 do too much all day! I get tired of seeing him! N Jas not relevant! Jay n Em on the other hand every private! I think people would be waaay more interested in their privacy alone!??????!

        1. thats not yhe point jay z has more hits then em and the was a em song that jayz used yo fill out his album shm do you listen to music or skim through it

        2. What does that have to do with overall catalog and hits. Man aint nobody riding around bumping Em for the culture or throwbacks unless they are depressed and suicidal. Jay Z’s Reasonable Doubt album will wash Ems whole life. Dont nobody care about them gimmicky ass videos and cartoon rap. Jay got fucking hits. Street hits and commercial. Em aint got no street hits fam. Not like that. U want him to have em but he dont. Snoop will wash Em hell. FOH. Lol

    4. Snoop is out of 50’s league? Says the guy who took shots at Snoop Dogg on the pledge song and video with Nas and Ashanti

        1. Naw… we dont…Nas was creating a buzz and was taking a shot at gay z….due to his INC affiliation…he was never gonna sign wit them…

      1. So, he can`t say the truth because he dissed him over 10 years ago?
And your reasoning of what you said is, what?

    5. Coming from the same guy actually called Snoop “Bitch dog” in a song? And he wonders why the industry took a dump on him.

      1. Give that man some respect. He want up against the illuminat1 and lived tontell the tale. This man is a hero in my eyes.

    6. 50 would lose overwhelmingly to Snoop. Deep Cover, Nuthin but a G Thang, Dre Day, Gin and Juice, What’s My Name, Ain’t No Fun, Gz and Huslaz, 2 of Amerikkka’s Most Wanted, Doggfather, Lay Low, Down for My N, Drop It Like Its Hot, Beautiful, Think About It, Vato, I Wanna Rock, and those are just the easy wins against everything except maybe Wanksta and In Da Club.

        1. He could play them still. He’s as much a part of the songs as Dre or Pac. In some cases he even wrote Dre’s part for him.

    7. If I’m not kool with you…if you’re my enemy..why wud i participate in something like that…if we’re beefing on some real shit it’s a no go period

    8. 50 knows that Ja Rules streams will go up and he will probably get a little boost in sales… It’s happened with EVERY artist and Producer who has done a verzuz battle so far. Timb and and Swizz have been posting the numbers after the battles to show the after affect of the Battles. 50 knowing this will NEVER throw that life line to Ja no matter what he says or anybody else says. He’s still playing Chess. Ja is play Parcheesi. FOH! Lmao

    9. Ja is such a joke. Hes begging for attention. Ja could probably battle lil Yachty. That would be a better battle for him.

    10. if you were to include not only their own body of work but every single last song that they ever featured on, collaborated on, songs from movie soundtracks, etc. then Snoop would crush 50 without question. all those countless hit records, classic records, album cuts going back to the beginning of Snoop’s career? 50 wouldn’t stand a chance. matter of fact, i would put Snoop’s entire discography (particularly from the early 90’s to the mid-to-late 00’s) against pretty much any hip hop artist ever and i think only a select few could stand up to it.

    11. I get 50. why even give ja a reason to be relevant he’s done
As em said in go to sleep no more fame. No more press rot mother fucker
