The duo had previously met for the first time backstage at Lollapalooza last year in Chicago, with J-Hope calling Cole his “muse.” J-Hope then specifically shouted out Cole’s track “Higher” calling it his “favorite music ever.”

The new track arrives after Cole’s Dreamville Festival announced its 2023 return on Wednesday (March 1), and revealed what might be its best lineup yet.

Dreamville Festival will return to Raleigh, North Carolina’s Dorothea Dix Park on April 1 and 2. Cole had previously teased the lineup announcement by calling it “the hardest festival lineup ever” on Twitter.
