Inspectah Deck And 7L & Esoteric “CZARFACE” Release Date

Inspectah Deck and 7L & Esoteric have announced that they are joining forces as CZARFACE, with plans to deliver a project in the near future.

According to a press release, the two acts joined forces as an addendum to their 1999 collaboration “Speaking Real Worlds.” The project will feature guest appearances from Action Bronson, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Roc Marciano and Large Professor, as well as additional beats from DJ Premier and album art by Lamour Supreme from Mishka NYC.

“The industry doesn’t need another well packaged, put together ‘act,’ instead fans are once again gravitating to the seasoned vets and newcomers that are still true to the game,” said Deck.

“We are CZARFACE because they know our faces and they know us for being dope rhyme suppliers, like Tony Montana we are known for our balls and our word; lyrically we will conquer the world and everything in it,” he continues. Esoteric adds, “CZARFACE is a vigilante, anti-hero character who serves as the face of the project, and his focus is on annihilating the media darlings that the mainstream caters to.”

    (February 21)

UPDATE: Label Brick Records has announced that Inspectah Deck and 7L & Esoteric’s CZARFACE album will release on February 19, 2013. Announced guests include Ghostface Killah, Vinnie Paz, DJ Premier, Mr. MFN eXquire, Action Bronson, Oh No, Cappadonna and Roc Marciano.

The release will be available digitally, on deluxe edition CD and 2LP.

    1. Wtf is with these dope mcs coming togeather as groups. Niggas bringing back that real hip hop. Niggas is making a statement to mainstream the real shit is here to stay its over for the swag nation.

    2. If hip hop was about selling out and commercialism it nerver would have progressed too what it is today, stay true to your art and experience the biggewr picture.

    3. Nice to see INS back in the mix…too bad it’s with that mope Esoteric…dude has one of the worst voice/flow combo’s in the game and made that East Coast Avengers shit unbearable

    4. All I can think about is that wack ass club I love next to. But Yea Super Group, hope they actually drop an album, unlike others…

    5. Fake one, take one, no ultimatum face one
There’s no escape from straight from the grain come the great one
My blade swung, decapitate your snake head
Slit your snake tongue make one false maneuver you a mystery
Unsolved, the mob that revolves automatically involved
      musclebound sounds surround commercial thugs
      Rock turtledove bowery suits
and purple gloves, me and you can have some fun
Make it a blast, you couldn’t take the impact
with steel shoulderpads, blood for blood
Veteran, covered in mud, wounded in the midst of war
Still tradin slugs gettin major love
Way above you newcomers, I come thunderin
with the heat of two summers when I enter the zone
Move mountains with the presence alone before the words
rip through the microphone, chrome dipped lyrics
are known to split stone, you private eyes home in
      but can’t seem to clone

    6. This shit is crazy! I can’t understand why so many people hate Esoteric?? That dude is nicer than MOST. Anywhere, underground or mainstream. AND on top of that, 7L & Esoteric have classic albums. Or albums with classic on them at least. 7L is definitely one of the best underground producers to do it..

    7. Idk about this man, Deck might be my favorite Wu member if we’re just talking verses on group albums, and 7L and Esoteric have their moments, but these dudes should not be on the same level to put out projects together. I’ll still Grooveshark it or something though.

    8. Huge Deck fan, but not a fan of them hipster clowns. Still gonna check the project out as I like everyone else featured on this record.

    9. I miss Inspectah Deck. This rap game really has gone down in terms of skill and talent. Everyone out there just makes dumb music.
