Atlanta rapper Donnis, who recently put out the 10.Deep-sponsored mixtape Diary of an ATL Brave [click to listen], has signed on with Fool’sGold Records to release his latest single “Gone.”
“I’ve known A-Trak and Nick [Catchdubs] for a couple years. We’ve wanted to work together for a while now, but timing is everything – and the timing is finally right,” Donnis said in a press statement. Looking forward to the partnership, he added, “I respect what they do and I’m excited to work with the Fool’sGold team on this record.”
With plans to release a music video for the aforementioned “Gone,” as well as a handful of remixes, A-Trak said the collaboration with Fool’s Gold is just the beginning of things of come. “Donnis has always been dope, but he’s grown by leaps and bounds over the past year from a skilled party rapper into an extremely charismatic, well-rounded artist. Nick and I are thrilled to have ‘Gone’ bring him into the [Fool’s Gold] family.”
