Kanye West has been known for teaming up with artists and bands outside of the Hip Hop genre from time to time. In the past he’s worked with blues rocker John Mayer, Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin, and Def Jam’s own Fall Out Boy.  So it’s no surprise to see him collaborating with The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers and 30 Seconds to Mars guitarist Jared Leto.

On Kanye’s blog Tuesday, the rapper shared with fans that Flowers and Leto dropped into his studio while he was producing beats for Young Jeezy.

I played them some new Jeezy beats and before everybody bounced Brandon hopped on the keyboard and I hopped on the MPC,” ‘Ye shared. “Shit was dope.

The amiable sentiments between Kanye and Jared Leto come after ‘Ye blasted the legitimacy of Leto’s award wins at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards. Kanye later apologized, saying that his comments were “wack.”
