The Neptunes might be among hip-hop’s hottest producers, but their fame apparently didn’t burn bright enough to persuade security at Voyeur to bend the North Loop-River North nightclub’s dress code April 24 after the trio’s appearance at an invitation-only function orchestrated by Rolling Stone at the Park West.
A Perception2020.com correspondent reports that the Virgin Record-signed production team decided not to make Voyeur their after party spot when one of their entourage was denied admission because he was wearing gym shoes. The Neptunes ended up cooling their heels on a nearby corner to take them back to their hotel.
