According to MusicRemdedy, Dilated Peoples’ DJ Babu is set to release the mixed compilation album Duck Season (Sequence Records) on April 30th. The DJ/producer hasn’t offered a widely available mix tape since 1995 and has impressively honed his production skills in recent years. The work will include exclusive tracks from Jurassic 5, The Beatnuts and a Hieroglyphics/Dilated Peoples collaboration.

Some of the previously released, but hard to find joints he’s referring to include “Gold Chain Music,” produced by Babu and featuring J-Rocc, Planet Asia and Evidence. Other names surfacing on Babu’s upcoming album include DJ Muro, Bumpy Knuckles and Pete Rock.
