Puff Daddy, now know as P-Diddy has had fans claim that they have seen him singing pop songs in Japanese. In fact it wasn’t Puffy, it is a girl band who goes by the same name. P-Diddy’s team has sent them a cease and desist letter requesting that they change their name to something else.

The band, which has two female members has never heard of Rap Mogul Sean Combs or Puffy or P-Diddy or Puff (well, you get the idea), but they have heeded the request on have changed their name to Puffy AmiYumi.

“We respect the fact that Puff Daddy is Puffy in the U.S.,” Puffy AmiYuma’s Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura told Entertainment Weekly. “The bottom line is that we don’t know what Puffy means. We were given our name by somebody else six years ago and we really don’t have a clue.”
