Filipino artists switchbitch, Run Deliks, Pry, Limbs, FLESHWOUND, gal.lows, and spore are set to perform at the WALANG PANGINOON ANG LUPA (The Land Has No God) album compilation launch this October 23, 6 PM, at Mow’s Quezon City.

The album launch is in commemoration of Peasant Month 2022 and is spearheaded by Artista ng Rebolusyong Pangkultura (Artists of the Cultural Revolution), a collective of artist-peasant advocates in the Philippines.

In a post describing the album, the collective wrote: “Layunin ng album na salungguhitan ang pyudalismo—ang nanunuot na monopolyo sa lupa o ang kawalan ng sariling lupang sakahan ng siyam sa kada 10 magsasaka—bilang isa sa mga ugat ng malaganap na kahirapan at kronikong kagutuman sa Pilipinas.” (The goal of the album is to underline feudalism—the unjust monopoly of land or the lack of farmer-owned land for nine out of 10 Filipino farmers—as part of the reasons for widespread poverty and hunger in the Philippines.)
