Filipino hip hop acts Run Deliks, switchbitch, and FEIFEI, along with other local artists Gravity Lock, savedhistory, Memoryville, and The Purest Blue are set to perform at 6 o’clock tonight (May 11) at Liwasang Bonifacio in Ermita, Manila in the Philippines.
The show is part of ‘TUTOK’ (focus) solidarity gathering with citizens calling for election transparency following allegations of fraud in the national and local elections on Monday (May 9), where unofficial and partial results see Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., namesake and son of the ousted dictator Ferdinand Marcos, and Sara Duterte, daughter of incumbent President Rodrigo Duterte, leading the presidential and vice-presidential race, respectively.
‘TUTOK’ is organized by Artista ng Rebolusyong Pangkultura – ARPAK, who, last month, mounted ‘AgriKultura’ (directly translated to ‘agriculture’) solidarity concert and artists’ fair to support workers in the agricultural industry.
