NBA YoungBoy has reportedly announced that he’ll be dropping a surprise project later this evening (September 5).

The Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper has just deactivated his Instagram page, and according to DJ Akademiks, it’s because he’s planning on dropping a sequel to his 2018 mixtape, Realer.

The news comes just one month after NBA YoungBoy released his fourth studio album, The Last Slimeto, which narrowly missed out on the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart after losing a tight sales race to latin pop star Bad Bunny.

The album debuted at No. 2 on the chart after earning 108,400 album-equivalent units in its first week. 4,600 of that figure came from pure sales, while the remainder came from 161.92 million on-demand streams.

Not only is he releasing new music, NBA YoungBoy’s dreams of a nationwide tour are coming to fruition with Quando Rondo riding shotgun.

During an Instagram Live session on Friday (September 2), YoungBoy’s manager Alex Junnier responded to fan questions about what cities would be part of the tour while also giving away Rondo’s inclusion.

“Shit, the tour is ready,” Junnier says in the clip while YoungBoy’s “Kacey Talk” plays in the background. “We got 30 cities. Yeah, Dallas is on there. Houston on there, not first though!

“You guys know what stop is first. Nah, Jacksonville not on there. Yeah Philly … Chicago on there. Atlanta on there. Rondo on the tour, yup. South Carolina on there.”
